i enjoyed the brief time i had with it but the optimization issues, server issues and the weird auto attacking has to be addressed for me to personally enjoy it. also for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason throne and liberty takes up 60% memory on my computer when i have a good PC i will list th specs below because people will get uppity otherwise

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics
Video Card AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics
Video Card #2 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
Operating System Windows 10
RAM 16 GB

the biggest culprit is that gaming now seems to want you to have a minimum of 32 gigabytes of RAM for certain video games, there is no way 16 gigs is minimum.

Do not recommend it may look fun but it's not, skill tree is awful, gold doesn't matter, all you need to do to win the game really is to max the prestige tree.

I highly recommend this game on any other platform then steam because square enix needs to update this game to fix a few glaring issues.
so the game worked fine for me up to post-game then when the monster is dead it takes 10 seconds for the game to process that the battle is over and now i am suddenly getting random crashes.

should you buy this game?
YES you should if you love fighting games, now you should definitely ignore the battlepass and the cosmetic shop this was not what i wanted in my tekken 8 but the solution is pretty simple, you can just ignore it and focus on what the base game offers. when it comes to DLC season passes in fighting games i always make sure to wait until the fuull roster is out before purchasing the pass and if i don't like the season pass i might just purchase one or two individual characters that i really think is cool.

i get why people are mad and rightfully so but it's kinda cringe to boycot and review bomb a game because of the battlepass and cosmetic store, it's just cosmetics nothing else.

I feel mixed about this game, it was an okay experience but there really wasn't anything fun with the game.
the point is to build an alliance but even then i felt that it was unnecessary to build one.
the combat is an auto attack simulator, you do learn several skills but they all seem to do pretty much the same amount of damage. i couldn't find any secret bosses either.
the game has you fight 4 hell bosses that talks about a couple of individuals that i never found in the game.
i thought this would be a lead to a secret dungeon or whatever but nah.

idk man, pretty mid game.
Tiggy is best girl though.

this game is alright, it does drag on a bit!
i thought this game was going to be a bit like super mario 64 kind of where you collect stars to open up big areas, you kind of do that but the dungeon design in this game is so lazy to be fair.
bosses are easy to kill.

there are about 15+ dungeons or so and they all feel the same just with different modifiers.
at this point i wished they would have gone the extra mile to make these dungeons feel a bit more special and unique.

bleh.
it also can get hectic because there is no slowdown when choosing a form mid combat so you gotta remember where that form is placed on the wheel.

it's a fun messy cute game!

i think this game is good amount of fun, however it is developed by 1 individual.
so the major patches takes at least 5 to 12 months.

it's not abandoned just a very slow cycle of updates! :D

the developers has clearly proved to us over and over again that the game will always be buggy and i'm not saying that games are bug free but hero siege time and time again is just filled with so much bugs, classes not working, damage not scaling properly, abilities and spells feels slow, weird, awkward, bad, useless.

the game used to be massively fun back in like season 11 but now they messed up so bad that i'm just sick of it.

and i do think we all should just ignore these devs.
i talked about on discord about their incompetence and they just straight up insulted me back.

on discord they also mentioned that they would be eager to discuss open beta issues with everyone, no communication there either.

i'm going to help you move on by recommending some ARPG's that you can look into to see if it looks fun.

warhammer chaosbane
path of exile
undecember
old diablo games
chronicon
slormancer
borderlands(kind of the same but you shoot instead of hacking and slashing)
titan quest
grim dawn

basically anything that isn't hero siege atm.

i'm done.
bye.
