This game definitely has a way of hooking you in and never letting go. I'm only 29 hours in at the time of this review, and with most games I'd probably say I haven't even reached the meat of it yet - but this game is 100% every single minute you play.

I’ve never seriously played a JRPG before, or anything like this really. I usually get turned off by games with too much dialogue - but this one just clicked. I saw the hype and thought, “There’s gotta be a reason everyone keeps glazing it, right?”

Even if you’ve never touched a game like this, you have to try it. It just pulls you in. The atmosphere, the music (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ peak), the characters… if you can get even slightly invested in the story - like you would with a TV show or anime - then you’re set.

It’s not even just the story or gameplay - it’s how tight everything feels. The visuals really stylish, the menus are animated like they're part of the action, and the transitions between scenes make even the most boring stuff feel cool. You go from solving emotional trauma in some twisted alternate world to just... drinking coffee and feeding your cat. And somehow both things feel important.

There’s this balance between being chill and being intense that just works. You’re either vibing to jazz tracks in the city, tryna romance a random character (takemi best girls ♥♥♥♥ makoto) or pulling off heists in surreal dream worlds with a team of thieves you genuinely care about.

I don’t usually get this into games with this much reading or turn-based combat, but this one flipped that for me. It's got heart, style, and just the right kind of weird. And if you're even remotely open to trying something outside your usual comfort zone, I genuinely think this one's worth your time.

Easily one of the most memorable games I’ve touched in years, and i'm yet to finish.

Most of us know and love this game and just wanted one thing, to FINALLY play this on PC.

Already know the story and already love the game, only thing i really wanted was a good PC port, i feared a repeat of tlou part 1 where the port was absolutely trash but they did fix everything with patches, needless to say though this game doesn't have any of those problems THANK YOU.

Absolute masterpiece, runs smooth like butter, definitely a must buy if you loved the first one or, just like me wanted to finally be able to play this on PC <3

71 hours played. Absolutely recommend.

So, I had RDR2 chilling in my Steam library for two years. I bought it, never touched it, and kinda forgot about it until I upgraded my PC. One day, I was scrolling through my backlog looking for something single-player and thought, "There’s gotta be a reason everyone calls this game a masterpiece, right?" Spoiler: they were 100% right.

For context, I’d never played the first Red Dead Redemption. I only vaguely knew about it as "Oh yeah, that cowboy game with John Marston from Rockstar games" and that was pretty much it. I didn’t know much about the story, the characters, or what to expect going into RDR2. Honestly, I thought it’d just be a fun open world game with some cowboy stuff thrown in. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

This game is just incredible. Riding through gorgeous landscapes on horseback feels amazing, the shooting is super satisfying, and the pacing is just perfect. It’s like the perfect mix of a story-driven game, an adventure, and a shoot-em-up all blended into this ridiculously well-thought-out experience. And don’t even get me started on the details, they’re next-level insane.

But what really caught me off guard was the story. It’s so well-written and just hits different. It’s not just a story slapped onto some gameplay; it’s all woven together so perfectly. Arthur Morgan isn’t just a character you play, he is you. The way the game pulls you into his life and his struggles is unreal. I’ll admit it, I cried. (And I don’t cry at games. The last time that happened was with The Last of Us Part II.) Arthur might actually be my favorite fictional character of all time now.

Visually? Stunning. Like, jaw-on-the-floor levels of stunning. The music? Absolutely phenomenal. Every track is perfectly placed and just adds to the vibe. And the atmosphere? Even if it’s not perfectly historically accurate, it nails the Wild West feel so hard that I didn’t care.

This game connected with me on such a personal level, kind of like The Last of Us games did. It’s not just sadness or nostalgia, it’s that deep, emotional connection where you feel like you’re living in the game, not just playing it.

Would I recommend it? Yes. To everyone. Whether you’re a hardcore gamer or just someone who plays casually, this game has something for you. For casual players, it’s like a movie you get to experience. For people like me who love a challenge, there’s so much to sink your teeth into, hunting perfect pelts, upgrading gear, getting the best guns.

This isn’t just a game. It’s an experience. Literally just buy this game right now just buy it.

My hopes were really high for this game and somehow they managed to kind of ♥♥♥♥ it all up. This game has almost nothing to do with the original if not maybe a bit of the base formula, Deceit 2 is a messy game plain and simple.
The plan wasy super easy, take the base of the original, (since it's a SEQUEL, duh) make new maps and characters in a new engine, improve over everything the first game has done bad and add a couple of new things and little features, kind of like Valve did with l4d2 from l4d, it was that easy.

Dying Light 2 is an actually good game for sure, but it's kinda unfair how most people keep comparing it to the first game. Sure the original's got that nostalgia hit and it's an awesome game but it doesn't mean that the second one isn't worth your time.

With the latest updates Techland just proved the listen to the community to the best of their capabilities (or at least they try). With every update the game just gets better and better and personally, i think it's a tie between the two games in this series. I know most people are gonna start crying and glaze DL1 for the 1000th time saying that it's the best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game in the universe and second isn't what we were promised. It's true the second one isn't what we were promised but it sure is (at least now) and awesome experience.

I had previously bought this game not too long after launch and even though the story wasn't bad and i got hooked i couldn't get myself to keep playing because the game at launch was just trash and nothing really worked.
Recently coming back to it i was just pleasantly surprised at how much the game changed and it FINALLY looked like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dying light game instead of it being broken parkour & broken combat simulator 2022.

The real essence of this game i think is the parkour, story wise you can say whatever you want really about the 2 games but the parkour of DL2 is just obviously superior. Not to say the story isn't good, i was surprised at how good the plot was and how engaging the story was.
I didn't think the first game could be topped but even going in with the mindset of "it can never reach the first game" i really think it's only a level below.

The content in this game is also amazing, in 50 hours i managed to finish the story and do some side missions here and there, and I've still got like 96% of the map to explore, not to mention how the story has it's own unique choices that actually do change the outcome of the game (only to a certain degree though).

All in all i think this game doesn't deserve the hate it gets from the DL1 fanboys and it definitely DOES deserve all the love and attention it's getting right now, both from the developers and people playing and making videos on it.
Really just open yt right now and type "Dying Light" and you'll have 1000 videos talking about how good the game is right now, that can't be a coincidence right?

10/10 dropkick volatiles again

I really think that this game doesn't deserve the hate it gets.

Yes it may be one of the worst Resident Evil's to be released but in my opinion it should be viewed as something different. Even if i'm a big fan of the whole RE saga and have played countless games i went into this with a different perspective without trying to put it in the same category as the other masterpieces.

Me and a friend were just looking for a co-op game to play that has decent mechanics and the one basic thing that one looks for when playing a game with a friend, FUN.
Needles to say that this game delivered, yes the mechanics are weird, yes some things that happen are way too over the top and janky to be considered realistic but guess what? That makes it 100 times funnier.

The fact that the game is janky and too over the top is really the highlight of it, if you have a friend to play it with you actually should consider buying it.

One of the things i don't see people talking about is how good some of the stories are, if you're a fan of the saga you may just really enjoy them. Some of the campaigns have really good moments and some really good plots, not to mention that all campaign intersect each other so the more you play them, the more you notice all characters some way or another have a brief interaction.

All in all the jankiness of the game filled with the good campaign stories and the fun factor of everything really makes it a good experience with friends.
My final advice? If you plan on playing it with a friend, get it; But if you plan on getting it because you like the RE saga and want a good story focused serious game, then don't even bother.

An actual 8.5/10 for a game many people really hate.

This game is like a roller coaster designed to crash and burn right from the start.
Its an absolute disaster, The mechanics are about as stable as a house of cards in a wind tunnel. Bugs crawl out from every nook and cranny, ruining any chance of gameplay immersion. You'd think they released an unfinished, pre-alpha version and slapped a price tag on it, It's a mess, plain and simple.

The gameplay feels like a chore. The repetitive nature of the missions will bore you faster than watching paint dry in slow motion. And the story? It's like a bad joke that no one bothered to refine. You'd probably get more engaging storytelling from reading a cereal box.

And the storyline? It's like trying to read a novel with half the pages torn out. Square Enix set the stage for a gripping narrative, but it's like they left the story at a cliffhanger, forgetting to tell us the rest. You'll spend more time scratching your head than battling robotic enemies.

Visuals? They decided to paint the world in shades of "What's going on?" and forgot the vibrancy. Sound effects? It's like they let a toddler play with a soundboard and said, "Yeah, that'll do."

Save your hard-earned cash and buy a lottery ticket instead. At least with the lottery, you might get lucky. But with this game? You're just throwing your money into a digital black hole.

But ♥♥♥♥ i mean if you wanna buy it, buy it

Early Access Review
Clearly a hidden gem. My best recommendation is getting this if you have a group of friends to play with and of course use open mic, otherwise well go ahead and torture yourself both mentally and physically by playing this solo.
Why play with 3 other friends you may ask?
Because the fun of going in the building together, to then split up and hear muffled screams from your fellow co-workers dying to an 80cm tarantula, is truly one of a kind experience.

10/10 would get evicted again for not meeting the quota.

I'll start off by saying that i'm one of the very few that haven't played the original RE4 and i'm also one of the very VERY few who haven't played an og RE game, none the less i found myself really enjoying this game.
This remake made me quickly fall in love with the concept and meaning behind the Resident Evil saga, after playing it i was quickly surfing the internet for lore videos and pages to read.
The Resident Evil series has been around for a long, long time. But in many ways, it's only just begun. The latest instalment is a dark and twisted masterpiece that's guaranteed to give you nightmares just like in the original.

Graphics:
The graphics are of course just phenomenal as you would expect from a game in 2023. A big part of the graphics in this game is the fact they are perfectly optimised for any type of PC and you find yourself being able to tweak every single setting so that you get the best quality and the best performance you can, which is what we all want.
I have a mid to high end system and with the help of the settings i was able to get a stunning looking game that ran at 80+ FPS even in the most demanding of situations, the face models are also shocking. Capcom had the idea of using male and female models to get a realistic face for both Leon and Ashley and they did a fantastic job with the casting as usual.

Gameplay:
I was met with surprise when a lot of people online mentioned the fact that this game was better enjoyed with the aid of a controller, implying that the game wasn't thought out to be played with a keyboard. To my surprise i found myself really enjoying the keyboard layout and the way it felt when aiming, you can enjoy the game with both a controller and a M&K with no big issues whatsoever.

Story:
The story follows of course the same events as the original but in the remake the story has some differences that were very well thought out. I won't mention any of them as i don't want to spoil anything to people who are yet to play this masterpiece, but, all the main events occur as in the original with minor differences that help define the game more. The game also has ton of replay value with the NG+ and the Mercenaries mode.

A whopping 10/10 for a game that would honestly deserve a rating higher than 10. It's definetely worth buying even at a full price to support the beauty Capcom blessed us with.

"Where's everyone going? Bingo?"
