While good at its core, just like its predecessor.
it is very lacking in some points:

The story is all over the place, doesn't make any sense and if you happen to branch out on the story at the wrong time you miss a lot of the dialog and end up having to revisit previously explored places to ''trigger'' info on the story. It just shows that the story has been thrown over 3 times so far.

The vehicles just aren't as fun. While yes the world wasn't designed as wide and deep as the previous one to reason a big ass submarine. I just deeply miss far exploring with my moving-base cyclops.

The land parts of the game feel like a slog and traversing them isn't fun at all, I'd have prefered it if the land parts was kept to a minimum and expanded a bit more underwater.

It just feels like the devs dont actually know what made the first one so so good. The focus on the story killed this one.

Good, Athmospheric, Fluid and fun Combat

Just beat the game in 3 hours. It was a great experience. The music was very very very good and some of the bossfights had crazy fitting themes. I find myself listening to some the Titan Souls OST a lot while playing nowadays.
The world acts as a transition phase and only has minor puzzles at best. However for this kind of game this is perfecty acceptable as it lays the focus on the bossfights!

It is basically shadow of the colossus in 2D.

Didn't work on my 2x GTX 560 TI SLI, poorly optimized, he lied about seeing other players in the game. Refunded.

I've been looking for a game like this since an eternity. Every since i finished ''Dust an Elysian Tale'' i fell in love with 2D Platformers that focus on a beautiful artstyle and understand that the music is just as important as the visuals. While this game may look like it is for children i can ensure you it is not. First of all the story made me actually cry in the first 5 minutes of the game and the constant goosebumps and shivers down my spine just speak for itself. The first dungeon final was as climatic as it can get and it was awesome. This difficulty level is not for everyone tho. I found it perfect for my skill level but other people that just want to enjoy the story and the beautiful designed levels may get turned off by the difficulty of it.
The only bad thing is I can't play it a second time without all the shivers and goosebumps i got from the cinematics and final levels!

This is a great cute and funny game. The fighting feels awesome and you can dish out huge combos!
But most importantly are the great characters in the game. Each one of them has a great personality and they are very well synchronized and have awesome accents. And Fidget should get an award for best Sidekick in a game.
