My favorite game of all time. So wholesome, so relaxing. Fabulous story, fabulous characters, world's best gameplay.

This is a difficult game. It also got me to play for like four days straight. Unlike many games, where I will look up how to do things, I resisted the temptation to google how to do any part of this game. It makes it much more fun, and much more of a brainteaser. You will also feel incredible when you do solve the game's mysteries. All in all, the game creates a fantastical occult world with strange powers and unusual gods (?) for you to build your cult around. It also has a rather steep learning curve, and I legit cried when I lost one time. But I used the lessons I had learned in that game to win the next game in a quarter of the time it took to win the first. No spoilers, but this game is very in-depth and has great replayability. If you're alright with the rogue-like nature, and can accept that you could lose upwards of 20 hours of work, this is one of my favorite games now and I am avidly trying to 100% it.

This game is exactly what sequels should be. It took the amazing concepts of Curious Expedition, kept some of the best parts, and then innovated on the rest. The graphics are way better, the fights are more fun, and its a more survivable game. If you like the roguelike, die all the time experience, play the original. While this version certainly can kill you, or your favorite party member, it is more focused on surviving the long run. The campaign is very fun and quite curiousity provoking (ba dum tsh). I played the campaign almost non-stop start to finish. Beyond the campaign, the game is quite replayable, with new characters to unlock, and a sort of prestige system. Some progress continues between games, so even if you die, you're making progress. All in all, really fun, a wonderful sequel.

A very unique indie take on a story based game. Its a game built around an amazing story, but the gameplay is key. Very much a puzzle game, this is the hardest I've ever thought about a game, but I loved it. Really an amazing game. You will not be able to stop playing it once you start. Probably only good for two/three playthroughs max however, and spread out so you forget the story a bit.

Early Access Review
Best, Most promising Indie Game of The Year. This game excites, has simple yet addicting physics, and infinite creations.

Better yet, its still only in alpha, so the amount of features to come seems to say that this game will be a true classic.

Also, who doesn't want to become the Lord of The Sheep, reigning in a massive death robot?

A solid game, with tons of cool new features and great gameplay. It still lacks something though, and it feels more like Civ 5 and Alpha centauri than a revoloutionary entery into the franchise.

Nonetheless, upgraded engine and graphics along with gameplay like aliens and covert ops makes it well worth it.

11/10. One of the best games i've ever played, Sid Meier again makes a fabulous game. Smooth gameplay and infinite replay value make it top notch! With more than a dozen awesome civs, and DLC that is very much worth the purchase, its a game i asbolutely love. Can't wait for Civilization: Beyond Earth!
