This Game was my First introduction to Monster Hunter franchise back when it first came out on console. I must say out of all the games I played this one is one that I was able to make many friends, grind like crazy, and before I knew it I reached 1.5k hours without even realizing. I can't wait to replay on PC and have the same level of fun or similar.

I will say this game does suffer sometimes from stutter or crashes on steam but at least for me they aren't frequent. That aside I 100% recommend this game no matter what year it is or how late you think you are.
