FINAL FANTASY XVI has a rich and immersive world set in the land of Valisthea. The powerful and godly summons from previous entries are now Eikons and their dominants (humans who can wield their power) play central roles in the story. The plots revolves around political intrigue, war, and the fate of the world, all of which focuses on the personal and emotional narrative of Clive Rosfield, the main protagonist.

The combat system is similar to the newer action-oriented combat systems from the FINAL FANTASY remakes. The game utilizes real-time combat, with fast-paced and visually stunning action sequences. The player controls Clive, and the game allows for dynamic and fluid combos using various Eikon powers. Combat system is similar to the combat systems used in the action RPG games, Devil May Cry series. The visual design and stunning environments of Valisthea are breathtaking. Some of the best in the series. The soundtrack, composed by Masayoshi Soken complement the epic battles and emotional scenes.

Clive's development as a character is a highlight. He starts his journey at a young age and soughts for revenge after a tragic Eikon fight that kills his brother. The supporting cast receive considerable depth and all their arcs tie into the main narrative. While the game is heavily story-focused, there are hours of side content and exploration to be completed.

A great continuation to the Insomniac Spider-verse

I'm not typically a fan of MMOs, but this game caught me with how nice the graphics looked. Once ingame I've been hooked and powering through it. Overall really fun

Amazing port. No bugs or issues. Lets go Boy, we've got a journey ahead of us.

Fun when playing with friends

The game is difficult, but at the same time very addicting. The pixel graphics are super clean and makes the game extremely fun. Can't wait to see what is added in the future :)
