Easy to play but hard to master, every time you find a shortcut, you feel like a god, until you check the leaderboard and realize that "fartmaster28" finished the track before you even started moving. So the game offers something for both casual players looking for a chill platformer and speedrunners who haven't felt the touch of sunshine in 7 years.

The music is a banger, with a few great tracks, each having bit different style from the others. The visuals are simple but clear, and they definitely have their own vibe. The story is even simpler, but it’s really just an excuse to jump around in a car, and honestly, I don't think you’re playing this kind of game for the story, lol.

Overall very worth it, a cute game offering a few hours of good fun for a low price :3

The game takes everything from Backbone that made it great, and fixes nearly everything that made it not incredible. The music, sound design, style and visuals are still as perfect as they were in Backbone. The dialogue in Backbone was great, but it was kind of dissapointing how it changed absolutely nothing in the story. In Tails you feel like EVERY choice can matter, so you choose your answers more carefully and think about what they might lead to. Backbone was kind of lacking in gameplay, it was basically like watching a movie. A pretty damn great one but still. Because of the important choices Tails does not feel like it at all. This also means this game has some real nice replayability. All the characters are really likeble and very well written, that includes the OGs from the first game as well as all the new people. The stories are depressing and even more emotionally crushing and I absolutely love that.

- Clarissa's story was surprisingly the happiest one in my opinion. It definitely has the happiest and most satisfying ending for the characters. To be fair I disliked Clarissa in Backbone, but this story made me much more empathetic towards her. My favorite was definitely her uncle tho.

- Howards story is mostly comedy and is definitely the story that made me laugh the most. The funny and awkward conversations were so great. Of course the highlight of the story was the relationship between Howie and Larry. It was so freakin cute and I think everybody wants to have someone like Larry in their life. But what makes this story so depressing and soul crashing is the ending and the fact that you know how this whole thing ends up. It just feels so wrong saying stuff like "It will be ok", when you clearly know it won't be.

- Renee's story is just depressing and it doesn't hide that fact for a second. It definitely feels the most real and you know it's just something that often happens to people. I dunno man, it's just sad... but it's really good at being sad and I love it.

- Eli's story is definitely the emotional highlight of the game for me. Eli and Jorge are the only main characters you know nothing about, yet at the end of the game you are just as emotionally connected to them as you are to Howard and Larry for example. Which is why the ending hurts so much. I don't know if there's a "happy" ending for this story, but considering the fact we don't see them at all in backbone I seriously doubt it. There may be a happier ending then seeing them get shot and left in the desert and I'll try to get it, but I have a feeling there is no "good" ending here.

Sorry if I butchered some sentences, English is not my first language. Overall incredible game buy it now, don't even wait for a sale it's worth the 15 bucks. Go tell your friends and grandma about it, she will love it 100% gurantee.
