beautiful looking game, the combat is fun until you need to use precision and skill to do anything like bosses or arenas that will kill you if you fall out of bounds.

i give up trying to beat this, i'm tired of catapulting off in random directions at highs peed with no way to correct myself mid boss fight, while dodging infinite screen filling, and homing bullets all just so i can try to do my damage in the short amount of time you have ot actually hurt the main source of the boss before the enemies respawn. and there is no way to make any of it safer by disabling both halves of the boss at the same time.

i played this series when it first came out, and decieded to buy this, even though i already own the first two seperately. i can say for a fact that is has an amazing graphical improvement as well as some ofhter little things like the ui. some things feel nicer, having played it all with a controller, the shooting was pretty good.

the only bad things i can say are a few glitches i ran into. in the first game, you would be unable to interact with anything, which is easily solved by reloadingt your save, or saving where you are and doing that.

the second game had this problem where i would get stuck on little rocks on the gorund unable to move. that and the auto aim system made it hard to move around enemies, or shoot explosives because i would snap to a target, or my aim would slow, or even lock on to an enemie meaning i couldn't look away from them.

the third, i had a ton of trouble withg etting caught on corners, even when i can physically see i am not enywhere near them, that and the only other minor nitpick of snap aiming to enemies made sniping kind of tough in the heat of battle.

i would absolutely reccomend this version to anyone who wanted to get into mass effect. unfortunately, the biggest thing that makes me really say to avoid this is that, while the satnd alone for 3 has multiplayer, one of the greatest things ever invented, this version does not have it. it really hurts my enjoyment knowing that, unless i want to replay the game, or series, i can't just spend time and back in the glory that multiplayer was.

so really, if they ever get around to adding it in the future, i would not let anyone touch any other version, even the classics, especially for this price. if they do add multiplayer to it later, hopefully they give it some tweaks, maybe cut down on the grinding for duplicates to either power up a weapon, ability, or add more options to character customization. maybe just make it so flat out credit purchases can get you what you want when you cna afford it.

i can't really say much more than this really. mass effect is a beautiful scifi series with amazing sights, tons of uniques species, and aliens, as well as a fair amount of variety in gameplay, from vehicle sections, to all out gunfights, or a hold out until help arives. not only can you learn a lot through the dialogue with those around you, civilians, or crewmates, but you also do evenatually get to see life for a lot of these aliens and see how unique their cultures and technologies are.

not only that, but the soundtrack is one of the greatest around. if there is any one song that tugs my heart strings, it's hearing the title song from the first in the series. i think i would say that, old bioware did the world proud with this series. it's a one of a kind thing that leaves endless memories for you to enjoy. even if it is a little lackluster (or was) in some parts.

it is an incredibly fun game. from the very first moment i started it, i had a stupid grin on my face with just how much it felt like it was part of the starwars universe.

the combat is like dark souls, you have doges, parries, light and heavy attacks, and lock onto single targets. while the start may make you feel like it is an incredible difficult game, while you get used to the controls, later on you will begin to fight large groups of enemies that you can take out fairly easily, like if you played the force unleashed.

you travel to different planets, meet people, and explore areas to find new ways to outfit yourself, as well as make your own custom lightsaber. i enjoyed the story of a boy on the run coming to terms with what caused him to be where he is, and finding a greater good in the galaxy.

it si an incredibly fun game. it is tight and sharp in it's movements and how easily it can be played. there are many areas and planets, and a large variety of enemies and unique bosses, as well as plenty of hidden secrets, like saber colors, ablities, and costumes.

it is not a game that pulls it's punches on you. i replayed it after a long while, and some areas/enemies can give you trouble on even normal if you don't know how to handle them, or use timed powerups when you really need them.

it has a great story, where you control possibly one of the strongest force wielders as you hunte down the remaining jedi of the clone wars, under darth vader's orders. i enjoy it every single time i play it, starting new games to find all the collectibles every time.

the only problems are that, when you do platform, it can be a little wonky since you can't get a clear view of how far you went, and need to go, to reach far spaces. some outfits that should have fabric physics to it don't exactly work either, so starkiller can have it legs phase through very startchy clothing. i did have a coulpe crashes, mostly during boss fights, but you can hop right back into where the last checkpoint was in it, so you aren't losing a huge bit of time you have to replay through. and the final problem i have is in a few levels near the end, it seems like no ambient sound places, so there is no music or footsteps or sound effects other than everything you do and the storm troopers that scream.

other than this, i woudl say, if you want a solid starwars hack and slash, this has it, with a nice bit of force powers that you can combine to wreak havoc on your enemies.

i have to say, i enjoy all the naruto storm games i've played and each installment i'd say is better than the last. they put in new charcters so there is that to look forward to as well as new arenas and new things you can make your own character wear so you can be even more unique from otehr people.

the game runs super well, and the fights are both fast and fun, and it's a blast to play through. this game, unlike NUNS 3, doesn't really have a story mode, but none of the others before it really copied over the same story repeatedly. you could insert a dragonball Z story from every game that's ever come out. this one does however have a few little side stories such as a new charcter to the universe based around the main mode of the game as well as a few clips followed by fights that give back story to how things came to be.

the main mode of this game is a tournament based story.... 'story' ther isn't really much to it other than "go into a rank of an arena and fight a few fights against 3 other opponents." it's really more of you fighting 2 computers that are in a battle royal where you try to get teh most orbs, basically your score for endgame, and the one with the most wins. when you finish a rank you can continue the.... 'story' and get to unlock the next rank to fight in. this includes new traps or obsticales to make fighting the computers harder.

ther are other modes such as tournaments, leagues, as well as sruvival where you last as long as you can against waves of enemies or until you get beat out in an endless fight. there is also online where you can obviously fight other players and a place to customize your charcters, and each version/costume/whatever can have their own 3 differnt custom looks with items they wear, things they substitue with, or even finishing scenes when you get and ultimate finsh.

i can say for certain, after going for every achievement that the tournament stuff, the 'story' mode really isn't that hard. the higher the difficulty the more hazards you need to watch out for, but the more stuff the ai can get tripped up on and lose their orbs for you to just swoop in and steal free points. several times, eve on the challenges i never needed to do more than doge and dash for a whole round since it was easier to let them beat the snot out of one another or just get blasted by traps.

that does bring me to what i would say is the last thing i can think of to talk aobut here and that is the ai.
when they are on low difficulty, they aren't too resistant or aggressive, but oin higher difficulties they can basically cheat to fight. i want to call it true artificial difficulty because the only reason i seem to have trouble with fighting computer opponents and the like in survivalk where you need to win and beat all oponenets to win is because they can do things in split seconds that take you longer to do. some of the problems being, instant chakra dashes, so they can cancel your dash without you having seen them load chakra or things like, when you subtstitute and get behind them they can instantaniously dash into you and continue their combo. they can literally do this and sub from your attacks and still be at an advantage because they can do things that aren't physically possible.

really, it's an amazingly fun game, and even better with friends, and it's awesome to see what you can do to make more unique combos using dashes, cancels, justsu and the like. and even though it's fun even fighting ai, they can be really cheap and unfair only because it makes it harder for you to win. but it's not really a fair and realistic chalenge where you feel great having won because you can't really get an opening out of them.

last thing too, forgot to say so. if you are trying to grind out the achievements liek i did, i will say taht it is TEDIOUS! i swear most of the time i took longer to go from fight to fight than it did for me to actually beat it and go on to the next one. just be warned, if you have any desire to power through and get things in this game, you'll most likely spend more of your time sighing because you just want to be done with somethign that takes 3 times as long as it should to complete.

right, so i recently played this again after a long time.

i first ran into this game when i saw it on youtube. then it was such a fun looking game. it was in alpha i think, but it had tons of fun stuff and the people enjoyed it. wave based survival with weapon drops that only got more rediculous as time went on.

playing it now... i don't know, maybe i ahven't played around enough in it, but it kind of just seemed to be another open world mine and craft survival game, just like every other game that has no value to it. there isn't much to see or do, and if you wanted to try to get weapons and armor, you'd have to just wander aimlessly and poke at things with your mining thing. luckly i was able to find a chunk of steel so i could make a handgun so i did get to shoot stuff.

other than that, i really can't say that i'm glad i bought this. when it was back then it was so much fun, but now there's nothing. there are a few areas and enemies but nothing really worth your time. i feel like what they had when it WAS an alpha was what they should have tried to finish it as. mayeb it wouldn't be a hit, but it might have stood out more as a silly survival/ tower defense sort of game instead of another dead and abandoned dayZ clone... if think that's what it is, since there really isn't much else i could compare what the game is like to.

this game sure is something.... if you've eer played rainbowsix: vegas/vegas 2. this game is just like the terrorist hunt from that, except everything about it is broken.

the controls are broken and make the game horrible. i've never played a game that gimped my movement that i had fun playing, dead island was a sufferable pile of trash for one of those reasons. you can walk normally forwad, but any other direction not facing anything you walk straight towards, and you walk as if you just found out your legs can do that and are afraid that if you tried walking normally, that you'd fall over and die.

the guns... well... they're okay i'd guess... i mean, if they went for realism, it works? well... works as in, if you were spraying from your hip with a machinegun, blindfolded. you almost have no ability to shot anyone at any range if you aren'taiming, and even then it's still almost impossible to kill anyone. the fact that the equipment screen is a poor and simple as it is doesn't make it easier to play either. to change equipment you have to hit little arrows on the side of the box. that doesn't help more so when they dump 3 of the same gun on you with no notions of any difference of viraiety to them. so you have 3-4 mp5s to choose from. 2 half for grips, 2 have short barrels, and 1 forces a silencer on you, haven't noteced any difference betweeen them.

the AI... oh good lord.... these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are super geniuses... they can calculate the trajectory of teh bullets they fire from their guns so precisely that they can kill you with one burt. most of the time, when you an an enemie lock eyes, they will win because of their lightning reflexes and their amazing ability to curve bullets in mid flight.
this brings me to teammates (singleplayer) your teamates are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. how they managed to pass the training levels is beyond me... but the genius enemies and your retarded followers together have led me to watch as one man took me out before the door opened fully. i was in the death screen before it swapped me to another man who got killed by the same man. in the death screen, i proceeded to watch this man, gun down my two remaining men with a nice smoke break inbetween kills, no doubt in victory over the terrifying might of a swat group.

the best part i found about this game, is that if you play it on keyboard, they have the spacebar as an activator. this reminds me of the older elderscrolls games, as morrowwind or oblivion. the best part about tht is, if you ever try to change any of the key bindings at any time, the game decided that you are 'too pro' and removes your ability to reload, even if you never changed it's binding. i unfortunately was not try hard enough to play on one mag mode, and continue into survivalist mode where i use my fallen enemies weapons to finish the job.

honestly, as bad as this game is, i find it better than dead island, and maybe because of how much time i spent on vegas and vegas 2. it's really a marval at how big a piece of trash this game is. it's so bad in fact, with what i'm used to, that i find myself kind of enjoying just how bad a game can be, yet pretend that it was going to be 'revolutionary' to itself. especially watching node getting yelled at by some crazy man as promotion to this game. nothing gets you into the mood of a game than seeing people having fun and getting put down because of it.

so i guess what i will have to say is that... if you like games like t-hunt so much, and are so into it, especially with friends, this might-MIGHT- be worth getting, if not free from a friend (as my case) if it's somethign that just clicks with you, it's absolute terribleness will kind of... make it worth playing to see how a nobody company can pretend to be EA.
if you are not in fact one for games like this, then would suggest another genre of game. after all, as much fun as left for dead is, it must not be my favorite genre because dead island was the most painful thing i ever played, even when i only played the main story missions.

if i could rate this game anything, and i hate rating games. i'd give this a 10/10. 10 being the most terrible thign ever mind you, if it was a 1/10 it's probably be considered standard trash that microsoft wants you to pay for on XBLA.

and truthfully... i don't know if i should recommend this game to people so t
