A farm-life sim, ala Stardew, Sun Haven, Animal Crossing, Graveyard Keeper, etc. Recommend picking up on sale, though not sure about current full price. Will definitely see what lessons they learned in their sequel game, My Time in Sandrock sometime soon.

What did they so well I want it to see other farm-life sims do:
- Advancing relationships with a person to the next heart/level gives a small relationship bonus to everyone in their relationship network. It's a great way to convey that the NPCs talk about the player and it influences others opinions of those closest to them.
- Game speed setting. It's really nice to be able to slow the game down to get more done on a per day basis
- Any items in chests within your workshop are accessible from the workbench. This saves so much time trying to keep a storage system where you grab the items, make the thing, put the excess away, with the only caveat being nothing from the Factory can be accessed (presumably because it's instanced)
- Any chest within the workshop

What would I want changed:
- There's a mechanic in the game were you can commission NPCs to gather some specific items for you. The problem is that in some instances you can commission them to gather items that you haven't discovered yet, and some other items you've discovered and would like them to gather but just don't have them as options. Having some consistency where once those kinds of resources are discovered, that they become options to gather from those NPCs.
- The amount of relationship points needed to max out an NPC is very high, and no gift per week limit. This results in most NPCs needing about 90-100 gifts to max out their relationship, minus any additions gained from events, holidays, commissions etc. I'd much prefer to be limited to 1-3 gifts per week and the amount of points given per gift to be much higher.

Pros:
- Yep, it's definitely a farming SIM.
- Great sprite work
- Decent combat for the genre
- Good customizability to how you wish to play. Seasonal events/pests can be turned on/off as the most relevant example

Cons:
- ~70% of crops are just cash crops; Used for a museum bundle and nothing else but money, or a single recipe that you'd usually not want to make. This could be rectified in the future, but it seems like there's more dev interest in more areas vs beefing up existing content areas as much.
- A general lack of investment in any of the NPC characters. This could be personal, but I'm just not drawn into any of the NPC characters. Somethings that can add character to NPCs is less generic animations for their reactions, or a minor sound difference for the text that appears on screen for them
- Not specific to the game, but it'd be nice to see some indication of after an item is given to an NPC if they Love/like/dislike/hate that item. It's annoying to have a wiki open to look up what each character likes/loves to give as gifts than for the game to just tell you once you've tried an item on them already.

Early Access Review
Gameplay is fantastic, amazing game. Scratches same itch as Factario or Minecraft with industrial mods to them.

Unfortunately, the devs haven't added aliens farting. Only 2/10 at this point, but it's in early access so there's still a chance

Check out the Steam Workshop, there's a lot of fun board games people have developed. Some notable examples are:

Arkham Horror
Masterpiece
Munchkins
