I went in expecting a chill fantasy RPG… I came out emotionally compromised, spiritually enlightened, and unsure if my controller survived. The combat? Smoother than jazz on a Sunday. The art? So gorgeous I tried to lick the screen once (don’t recommend). The story? It whispered sweet existential crises into my ear with every twist.

One boss literally insulted me in verse while murdering me — and I thanked them for it.

If you like beautiful suffering, stylish combat, and a game that feels like it might haunt your dreams in French, Claire Obscur: Expedition 33 is your next obsession.

if you liked AC Odyssey, and hated AC Valhalla, this is for you. it feels like Odyssey again and I can't stop playing it.

Story, Graphics, Gameplay, Sense of adventure, combat, stealth, all amazing.

since the latest update, we made a new save file to return and play. every day we're plagued with crashes constantly, tried so many fixes online to no avail. we've given up. will return in 6 months and try again maybe?

I've played for a few hours, Steam says 220+ hours on record, but I'm pretty sure I'd know about a missing 200 hours.

unrelated; I have noticed when I play this game I lost track of time, and get told to get off the computer and go to bed, after only a few minutes it feels like.

Logically, what happens, is when you play this game, you enter a time chamber, where time slows down for you, but speeds up for everyone around you, so you'll play for a few minutes, and in the real world, 12 hours are gone and you're really hungry, but you have to setup one more belt, or one more assembly machine to continue your story.

Amazing game. Recommended if you can spare a few minutes of your life.

have had game since beta..
now its released, purchased the DLC's too (even before it was released)
just so buggy.. so many errors, local hosting is so broken, can;t search for games half the time
i wouldn't recomend buying till this is all fixed up.. its not a finished game

Great gameplay so far, but the difficulty to plan on LAN, was crazy hard.. reading forum after forum.. then finally being able to connect, the lag is unplayable. Refunding this game. Not keeping a game I can't play... imagine playing Diablo 3 or torchlight with lag, you die every time it lags..

If you're planning to play multiplayer with your other half / friends, it will just lag to the point of unplayable.
RIP Grim Dawn, I loved you for the time it wasn't lagging.
