I know it's early access, but I had access to HAWKEN over a DECADE ago, that early enough?
Played 3000hrs+ on the OG Hawken, through OG Beta, Ascension, theGreatSilence, the Howken. that's long enough?
Paid hundreds of dollars even after 505 takes over.

505, I applause for you to even trying make something out of Hawken.
I played the heck out of the coop BD mode, I wanted something like this...story, a campaign, waves of enemies in new maps, new contents and all...

But man. It's like cheating on an exam with the answer, but managed to failed the exam horribly anyway. I recall APB reloaded players came to the forum to warn us.

For the love of the OG Hawken: Devs, GET. SOME. HELP.

Failing to even copying the right answer rise the question for the future of this project.
With less than 1 hour of gameplay, I stopped to believe that the project is meant to revive a decent game. It's more like 505 is draining the last drop of blood from this IP for quick cash.

But just in case, just in case, just in case if someone there still want to make a decent Hawken game:

FIND THE OLD HAWKEN, PUT IT IN USE. And find help to develop updates.

The game as it is now, aiming works weird; Hit feedback is close to nothing; Dodge is closer to teleportation, and it's only good for running since there are way too many rockets firing at you...

All those failed action and shooting were made WELL a decade ahead of this, yet they tossed them all.
***For people who haven't really experienced the old Hawken: there were tutorial that teaches you to dodge rocket projectiles, and you can detonated yours manually to counter the enemy's dodge...or hit those that are behind their covers. The actions in that old shooting game were glorious, it was like some kind of mech gun-fu moves.

Until some MAJOR change were implemented, this game is a meh at best.

Definitely not worth its title, but it's an okay random mech game for FREE, I guess.

*update*----WELL NOPE, not even good for free. Player dropped from around 2k to 22(24hrs peak) in about 2/3 of a month. Now facing difficulties reaching 15.

Based on the perspective of the "BASELINE" dev update, this game now ran out of hope.

I mean, whoever played enough games, should be able to conclude this very early access in under an hour. ----I gave it a couple more, and nothing positive came out of them.

The team is trying to make something new, something that belongs to themselves, but man...IDK how to describe it, it's like they trying to make a cat toy out of your dead dog pet.

Like the case of Anime Kemono Friends the second season. What a disgrace.

The game actually tells you how good the life is (while not playing the game).
But is it?

Would come back for some more lectures, quotations, and old music.
Might as well bring a cup of coffee.

Cute girls can justify its many flaws.

It's obviously will not have fancy UI and story telling, but the story performances as simple as they are in the game can be quite touching --Round of applause for the animator and illustrator.


Some gameplay is going to be depressing as well, if not worse than the story. --not the intended difficulty, but the flawed details:Like protagonists takes years just to make a turn, strange hitboxs, certain BS potted mushroom, etc.


Be able to control and to be with this Cute girl

Story continues from where the base game ended, Introduce Mater-Rank with the new icy map, and CHAOS across all maps, for you to investigate on what irritating the eco-system.

Turns out the flagship monster arent actually guilty, but you eventually found the big bad villain who was just trying to live its life, and you kills it.
On second thought, the end is actually not that bad with Nergi's role explained.

Speaking of Eco-system:
Monster Hunter World, build to promote the concept of the new WORLD and its eco-syetem.
But eco-system here, is purposely turned into DUNG for you to feel the story. Doesnt matter you finished the story or not, it stays that way.
--keep your eyes for some actual dung on the field tho, you gotta need it for your journey here.

Note that dung pots may not be sufficient to save you from being ganked, for many of the monsters--espeically those remastered flagship-tiered monsters, have the similar, if the the same, route.
It should be obvious at this point, that those extra monsters werent meant to be in those map, in the original eco-system. The only thing those invaders do, is to cross the route or native monsters, or one another--here comes chaos.

Heck, the chaos didnt stop there.

Sling shots all over the ground Especially at Guiding land , updated weakness mechanism, clutch claw, slobbering flinch...Safi weapon system, even the parts customizations!

They seems to be organized, but in truth? They're but agents of chaos, serve to increase the randomness, stretch the playtime--without a proper design surrounding it, ruined the pace that base game established.

Cant say they representing everything of Iceborne, but its theme is clear.

Wasnt planning to purchase the expansion, even maxed out HR before its release as a proper closure.

But I fell for candies, I guess one that maxed out HR doesnt just quit...

Unless you're joining your friends in Iceborne, try something else.

resident evil was one of the best remake that Ive ever seen. Years passed, even though the standard has been raise over and over...Capcom managed to pull another legendary remake, which not only captured the original tune, but with upgrades in almost every way possible.

A Post-apocalyptic FPS game with radiation and monsters that still makes you want to mimic the life inside.

If you're familiar with this franchise, you should know that this version are merely an "international friendly" version.

But it is still the first version officially available to most of us. I praise their hard work to make this possible.

However.

Steam allowing adult contents game doesn't meant everything is allowed. As a platform with higher media exposure, things on Steam might draw unwanted attentions.

The authentic experience may still questionable on international grounds, earlier UN even tried to ban anime girl. As for a recent Walmart thing, see who took the blame and got off the shelf?

For those who are interested in this franchise(Go google it), and have a bigger picture to appreciate it even with content-downgrade, I definitely recommend this.

Pretty solid for the beginning episode...sadly it ends with Miyako's route...or is it?

Each episode...or I should say each heroin's route? They do have a decent ending, with some new clue reveals at the very end--but not as much as a cliff hanger, so if you did noticed the certain achievement, at least I can tell you the game doesnt roll credits there.

The game is not very long, but as I mentioned above, the story does open up following each episode. Most character are richer than the most VN, story are actually interesting, great voice acting...definitely worth trying.

Expecting ep 2&3 soon, hopefully we can even have a world-wide release for ep 4 ...around 2020/April/25?

Couple extras things

Good one:
-The main text part support multi-languages showing at the same time. Could be helpful in some occasions.

Not-so-Good one:
-The game crashed twice, both happened while me AFK, yet everything was good while me actual playing it.
