When i bought this game i already had done some research which led me to the conclusion that this game is nothing alike cruelty squad gameplay-wise, so i was mentally prepared for a slower/meticulous gameplay with complex mechanics and rpg's features (which i was certainly excited for).

Despite this game being an early access at this moment and having A LOT OF content to be covered, added and fixed, i didn't expect THIS MUCH for its current state, i really enjoyed this first playthrough and i can assure that the final version of this game will grant a more polished and complete experience with at least +15 hours more of content.

I think if you are not sure of buying this game right now, wait until the game is released and check some reviews to conclude if the final game catches your attention or not. I personally love the risky and ambicious fact of this game's main concept and core gameplay being very distinctive from Cruelty Squad, leading my preferences into Psycho Patrol R rather than Cruelty Squad, and I LOVE SO MUCH Cruelty Squad, it's one of my fav games; but i got the feeling this game will be something else when it fully releases.

One of the greatest rpg out there. Without any combat, complex mechanics or bombastic graphics, it manages to build a world, characters and ways of expresions / feelings so rich through its beautiful and unique artstyle and that particular way of narrate the interactions between the protagonist and his surrondings (characters, worlds, thoughts).

i made this description as vaguely as possible in order to be able to just post the recommendation thumb up to this game, it's the least i can do. I'm not capable to really tell what makes this game so special to me and what makes this game one of my favorites of all time, so i just spit the most superficial great features this game has to offer, which doesn't make too much justice for this game, because its greatest features comes from experimenting the game and... feel it. y'know? There's no words to describe what makes Disco Elysium as it is.

What a great game, i feel bad volition had to shut down before be able to release a remaster or remake for this gem
