Somehow , CS2 did not fix the issues CSGO had, but is instead simply worse where it matters.
A relaunch including a bright filter over the maps, a valorant style buy menu, mediocre weapon sounds, and bad hit rig on 128 tick rating servers.
After playing CS for 20ish years, ♥♥♥♥ you valve.

EDIT october 2023, the game is SOMEHOW EVEN WORSE.

EDIT april 2024, utter trash, cheater infestation beyond any control or limit,
but hey, new cases and cosmetics keep coming out.

If you are a WH40K fan, this will be fine for a while.
A decent coop hack n slash game with 40k theme, some quips, and thats about it.

If you are NOT a 40K fan, or the fact that its a 40k themed game isnt enough to keep you for a while,
avoid it.

The game is fun, but it lacks ANY actual story, its repetitive, grind is the basis of the game, and once you are at the max level, the game is basicly over...

Needs more maps (different ones, all of the current feel the exact same ) more decent obtainable cosmetics ( characters look like hobos )
any endgame content, daily/weekly events and a unique reward for them, events within missions (ie aiding a NPC squad , they follow you untill death after the event completion , holding off a line so that civilians can extract on some transports, etc )
better enemy spawn points ( NUMEROUS times have i just turned my back, to a NO ENEMY IN SIGHT side, and get hit in my back by a melee, from a mob that HAS JUST SPAWNED BEHIND ME.
LOCK DIFFICULTIES ( people with level 1-10 keep matching last 2 difficulties and failing )
add ingame stats ( damage done, kills, deaths, revives, etc ) and postgame "medals" like most melee kills, ranged kills, kills overall, damage, teamplayer ((most revives and squad based abilities used ))
whatever, this feels so bland and pointless, no acomplishment at all.

Like many games prior to this one, its built on a existing fanbase hype.
It delivers some , but at least half is left wanting, it could be a great game, both for 40k fans and the ones
who are not, but at the moment, it is just not it, and not worth even the discounted price, at 50% perhaps.

The content is made out of 2 things : 1) Grind , and 2) RNG .

EDIT 03 Aug 2022, the game is still in a pathetic state, keeps disconnecting from servers back to main menu,
no fixes, no patches that solve this issue for a few months already, when ever I feel like going back and seeing if stuff got bother, the more I see how hiring some random hobos from the street to remake this game, would probably yield a better result.

EDIT december 2023, bit better, but overall still sucks, still get random disconnects or kicks due to "game files" and the entire thing, doesnt really feel like battlefield ...

And we all got used to Dice+EA releasing unfinished games, but this...
This is the worst BF game ever, even in the future, if this title survives, its hard to imagine something being worse.
I do NOT recomend this to either people new to Battlefield, people XPd with Battlefield, people who want a
fun shooter game, a working shooter game, a mil sim, a working game at all.
I would recomed this to some1 who wanted to wipe his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with 60 bucks, after a severe case of diarrhea, might do this instead.

- the existing few maps are EMPTY
- the game looks somehow worse than the previous ones, and Im not picking BF5 ( latest entry ) here, Im
talking 4+ years.
- the game performs like ♥♥♥♥ even on high end gear
- still no fixes for basic ass bugs like not being able to spawn
- the operators are a concept that is useless, unfinished and should be a part of some other game
- the balance is non existing
- weapon count is low
- hovercrafts - - - - - -
- random server disconnects
- random game crashes
- getting killed through a mountain by a tank on the other side
- getting shot through solid cover ( big rocks, hills, doodad cars, shipping containers with 2 walls )
- shots not registering

This game, is just bad.

Great graphics, decent optimisation.
After years of step by step expansion of the prebuild sandbox, it has some content today,
but is still confined within the tight box space.
Flashy, fun, was a nice ride, but for the past few years focusing on new bloods, and lacking any endgame at all.

The game was fun for the first 20 minutes, when button mashing, and trying to strat with a combination of basic moves, exploring characters, setting goals on cosmetics etc.
But soon u realise :

1. Dial up vs realtime moves
2. Saved macro players
3. No actual challenge in SP mode, just increased stats and beyond broken modifiers
4. Fighter imbalance ( huge )
5. After taking a solid amount of hours practicing, learning combos, strings, respecting the game
"mechanics " you will wait for a few mins in a Q to fight one out of 2 online people. 1 being a macro user, fininshing the fight in 15 secs, the other being a perma spammer of a ranged control loss ability like noob saibot, kabal, etc.

Awesome PvE and lore, that is if you like to read item descriptions and listen to hour long lore videos, decent graphics for its time.

On the downside, PvP.
Its the downside, together with ridiculous hitboxes/phantom range, hits going through the enemys face but not being hits, and enemy blade being a few meters from you, but still registering as a hit.
There is no " gitgud" for the PvP here, just a meta of items, bug abuse and overstacked levels.

In conclusion, as a SP 10/10
As a MP, for the ocasional invasions to make it look more alive and summons to earn some embers/ defeat bosses, 2/10.

If I could get 1 Euro of the refund, Id take it now.

And that summs it up folks. This is the unique example of bad coding, outdated engine used wrong, and coded even worse
The only thing that keeps this game from extinction , is MORE PEDOPHILE COSTUMES , schoolgirl, ninja, BATHING SUIT , whatsofkin ever, the point of female armor in this game is TO SHOW , legit porn / erotic movies would be ashamed...
And ofc, the pedos are buying them on alarming rates, and its basicly the only thing on the trade brokers .
Ive seen comparisons of this game vs wow... And yeah to speak the truth, this game is rlly close !
Just needs a mature audience, stable servers, new and WORKING engine, and actual content, once those minor differences are settled, this game has won.
Interesting PvP however, convert your new PC with quad or octa cores up to 4GhZ , and beast GPUs into MS POWERPOINT PROJECTORS, cus thats what ur gonna get , DESPITE HOW HARD U TWEAK THE ENGINE.INI
AVOID FOR THE SAKE OF OWN SANITY, IVE TRIED STICKING TO IT AND HOPING THERE IS SOMETHING GOOD AND WORTH, BUT I WAS WRONG

BS : Downloaded the game from Steam, installed, patched up.
Unpacking ! An hour straight on 7/10 . No solutions found, only similair issues .
When patcher closed, PC was unusable due to leftover proccesses from the mockable patcher .
Restarted , retried, same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ . -1/10
