it won't let me open it, everytime i try. It pops up a message saying, "Do you want this app to allow changes to your device" Even if i click yes or no, nothing happens

E:Z2's sounds are in its VPK files. You can find them in entropyzero2/ez2/ez2_dir.vpk

I wanna try to replace some sounds in gmod with EZ2 counterparts, but the problem is EZ2 doesn't store sound files like EZ1 does. I need help figuring out where to look.

A quick question about future EZ2 updates: could it be possible to make two separate branches, one mainstream and one bugfix-only? I'd like to receive only stability patches while keeping everything else as it was on day one, including that intro blur (I'm trying to make some artworks with that)

If you mean Enhanced Sandbox NPCs, I haven't had many reasons to get back to it, although I still sometimes step in to help people who are having problems. If any new issues arise with the addon in general, I would try to release an update to fix them (as I have in the past)
