I did that, but It still didnt work. I unsubscribed from every mod on steam then I subscribed to ATE and it worked. I will pass this along to the comments on the mod. Thanks tho!

Hi 9K I've been looking around for an answer and I've not found one so I thought I'd go to the source. Your mod After the End Fan Fork, Well when I subscribe to it it doesn't appear under the mods tab in the ck2 launch screen. I'm not the only one with this problem. People on the comments thread have said the same thing. Plz Help.

I take it back actually, we experienced 2 desyncs after 1 and a half hours of playing. There is probably a correlation of desyncs with one of the mods:

"Jade Dragon"
"Rajah's of India"
"Horse Lords"

Still haven't played enough multiplayer to tell which one specifically.

We actually enabled all the DLC's and are suffering no crashes or desyncs. Conclusion is that 1. it's the extra expansion mods or 2. you have to host as vanilla then reload with the DLCs

Enabled "The Republic", "Conclave" in addition to the other DLC's in the previous comment. Had no desyncs or problems for 2-3 hours of multiplayer gameplay yesterday.

I have information for multiplayer CK2 mod After the End. My friend and I were finding ways to still play it and it turns out, we are able to play After the End with no DLCs on with little to no desync problems. So far, I have turned on: Sons of Abraham, Sword of Islam, Way of Life, Ruler Designer, All Content Packs and Portraits with no desync problems. (We've had none since.)

Will continue to turn on different DLCs to find out which one(s) cause the conflict. One thing to note is that we both downloaded the mod over the steam workshop and will redownload the mod over the paradox site (for the missing counties issue) and see if these DLC's still work with that version too. We also turned off all extra mod portraits and the extra empires (which I do not know whether or not it has an effect on multiplayer).
