Balatro style event is super cool

Servers are bad, connection constantly dropping during matches. Gacha cancer, gives almost no free pulls unless you grind your ass off.

Fun combat. Lots of secrets hidden around every map, some of them require a guide to find or finish though.

Still getting continued support, has a really good story, pretty good game play, and impressive build variety.

10/10 this is one of my favorite game series

Mahjong is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Gacha games are cancer.

Ranked is also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage. Only the lowest rank rooms have any people and once you get to the higher rooms you just deal with no life max rank losers and it takes forever to find a match


That being said, you're never going to get to the highest rank rooms anyway if you're reading this, so it isn't the biggest deal. They're pretty generous with free gacha pulls so playing as a totally f2p account is totally fine, and the client has a much more stable connection to matches than MajSoul.

Just paying my Harada Tax so that I can actually learn how to fight against this annoying character.

Good game, mid performance.

Most 'dlc' are just consumables that can be pretty easily gotten in game, so ignore it all.

Update one year later- Everything is worse now. The game is nothing but coin flips, and characters are all becoming basically the exact same. Everyone has every tool now. Cheaters are worse than ever, and the scummy monetization seems to be only getting more insane as Season 2 drops with 10 new deluxe packs to scam people with. Do not buy this game.

If you were a fan of Tekken, you should just switch to only watching the game instead of playing this trash. Save your money, and your mental health. The dev team is doing everything in their power to make the game as awful to play as they can. I genuinely think Nakatsu is trying to kill a third 3d fighter series.
