It's playable now after the most recent patch, most of the bugs were patched out, still a little funky in some areas, I get stuck inside objects sometimes, but overall it's on the right track and there are plans to continue to improve and release content. Some people seem to be complaining that this isn't in the same spirit of the 1st game, and I'll have to agree that it's not 100% the same. That being said, this isn't a remaster of the 1st game and I'm ok with the new changes and actually like the new system they're going with, having the feeling of working toward something with xp and unlocking new perks gives purpose to survive and keeps me from getting fatigued after 1 match like I would in the first game. I do hope that the people that want the classic feel will get a "hardcore mode" at some point though. Overall, the game needs work but it's not horrible in its current state, it does need work and I'm hoping for the best. It's definitely more new user friendly than the first game, and if you've been itching for a new fps co-op zombie game with objectives, then I'd recommend giving NMRiH 2 a chance.

I've been playing Longvinter from the absolute very beginning, and I can honestly say it's worth playing with how much content there is now in 2024. I highly recommend playing PVE first if you're new or just want a comfy experience, it's a great way to learn the game and can be very chill with friends. You can build small towns with friends and other's to help build your own unique plot with farming, fishing, hunting, and mining. You can even create your own shops to buy and sell with the entire server! There's plenty of things to do, lots of quests to complete in the compendium, plenty of places to explore, and a good bit of customisation for your homes and characters! If you want your character to be more unique, there are cosmetics in the game that can be earned through achievements, playtime, promotions, seasonal events, opening tackleboxes, or bought on the steam marketplace - there's plenty of options to look the way you want!

TLDR: It's worth playing, lots to do, there's something for everyone, I highly recommend Longvinter

This game is extremely fun with friends, you can craft with your friends, explore with your friends, and enjoy the story with your friends. Don't have friends? That's fine too, it has a server browser and in-game voip. The laziest way I can describe Abiotic Factor is, it has the charm of Half-Life with similar gameplay mechanics of 7 Days to Die, and its a very VERY good mixture of the two. If you've never played either of those games, the other way to describe Abiotic Factor is, it's a very fun crafting story driven co-op game that doesn't have a 3rd party launcher that's worth your time and your friends' time.
Seriously, buy this game and play it with your friends, you might like it!

TOEM is an amazing comfy game that feels nice on a controller, it runs great on the Steam Deck.
TOEM is far from the usual genre of games I play, but the artwork caught my attention and I couldn't help but want more.
I'm glad I gave it a try because there's fun exploration, light puzzles, great soundtracks, and neat little characters throughout the game that gave me a good smirk.
It's oddly satisfying to run around and take pictures of everything, meet new characters, explore new towns, find new items, and discover hidden stuff- it's a very wholesome game to say the least.

I'd say TOEM is worth trying out if a comfy puzzle game sounds good to you, definitely worth grabbing if you have a steam deck, and most definitely a great pre-bed or on-flight type of game.

Leaderboards on all platforms show controller players on top, aim assist is insane, it removes deviation/spread and human error.
No option to disable crossplay, but I'm still hoping for a keyboard and mouse only lobby/playlist.
It's not all bad though, because I might take advantage of this...
I'll just move to Guam, purchase a chimp, hand it a controller, and wait for the esports money to roll in.
I gotta get my $70 back somehow, don't judge me.
