it's very much in need of a ui update, since it's been the same for who knows how long, and yeah i know that you can change the color scheme, but i'm talking about a full on ui overhaul.

it's really lame how the app freezes if you cycle through different sounds too quickly (not a hardware issue, trust me)

it would also be really nice if the way in which you changed the actual output volume got an update, as even though it's not difficult to understand and has a good amount of options to pick from, the only levels of volume output i'll ever use are 68db, 86db, and 107db because i haven't really felt like testing anything else. if it were replaced with maybe a slider, or generalized levels that go from 1-20, which displayed a subtext that shows the decibels of each level, that would be really neat.

also maybe move the volume output option to the main ui, since in order to access the output volume currently, you have to hit file, then preferences, and then click on the little drop down arrow in order for you to pick through the available options. and even though all of this isn't difficult, when you're trying to change the volume really quickly, it can be really annoying to have to do all of this just to make what you're playing louder/quieter.

additionally, i'm not sure why it is that this happens, but sometimes when i try to play a sound from 10 seconds or less into the runtime, it starts from the beginning anyways, even though i have it set to play from a different point. this issue is random though, and will seemingly happen whenever soundpad decides, and attempting to recreate the issue to figure out why it happens is difficult due to the inconsistency.

other minor changes i think would be kinda cool include: more options for the scaling since currently, the only options are 100%, 150%, and 200%; making the color scheme changes that you make also apply to the preferences tab; ability to disable the page scroll bar; ability to change the size of the sounds in the menu; an option that allows you to preview the volume of the output levels; either the ability to spam a single sound as fast as you can press the play button (or at least faster than you're able to as of now), or the ability to play sounds over each other

while this game has a unique take on the otherwise traditional zombie survival game, I find it to be very unentertaining if you don't have a full group of people, and are playing either versus or campaign. and what I'm saying with this is that the game itself isn't that fun, it's more about the people who you play it with that make it fun. if you either don't have anyone to play with, or don't really like the people you're playing with, this game is so unbelievably boring, and makes you want to play almost anything other than it.
