Honestly, picking this game up on sale is a good move. If you want a proper sim racer, there are better options out there depending on what you're looking for. The game receives very little support from the devs, and for that, I would not recommend this game.... however, the modding community single handedly carries this game. If you want a sim racer that is good enough for pretty much anything, Assetto Corsa (with mods) is absolutely the game to get.

I keep this shop game installed so I can show friends the god awful monetisation and give them a lovely speech on how to kill a game. The core game is fun, but that's not ow2, that's Overwatch. If you buy the characters, you only get the ones up until Blizzard release a new one. Then it'll be $12, thanks! Progression was (for the most part) removed and replaced with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ battlepass that doesn't give it's currency back. Skins are a nice $40, just short of the price for a AAA game. And apparently, the skins I got for free in ow1 are now worth $12,000. This is a game that will not respect the time you put into it and I highly advise against playing it if you're new.

Only played it for a bit. It's pretty aight.

Cute game which is actually really cool plus I can play it with my Logitech G29 wheel and pedals.
