You don't NEED a sense of humour for this game, but it really friggin helps.

I first played Prepare to Die Edition which by the end of the day, literally drove me crazy.

Since then, I have racked up considerable experience, both in playing the game and in the game itself.
(souls are both currency AND EXP, very good to remember)

So since i bought the past version of this about 3 years ago, i think, I have had good days and bad, with is and the other Dark Souls games.

But don't give up on it.
I've read in a few places that ANY weapon is viable to finish the game, people even run the whole game with a BROKEN weapon! (And I thought I was crazy)

But all in all, I'm quite proud to say that this is the ONLY RPG I've ever finished.
My main weapon of choice being the Black Knight Sword.

So yeah, in conclusion, you will hit walls regularly, both figuratively and literally, but you are more than able to get through anything this can throw at you.

(even the ledge, you'll know what I mean. THAT ledge)
