Okay so,
The first couple hours of this game will feel like a slog. The animations are clearly low budget and the models are obviously just reused manipulated models (except for the player character's), and investment into the story feels super low at first.
But.
If you power through the first roadblocks the game presents you, you'll be rewarded with some of the best combat, most emotionally investing story, devoted attention to character relations, and a great, overall addicting experience. This was easily added to my masterpiece list after I realized what the game had to offer.
