I assumed that the game would run well due to how optimized the demo was, but I was wrong. The first part runs well but then right when i escaped the chair, constant, annoying frame drops. Was running just fine, everything maxed out up until that point. Typical, amd gets ♥♥♥♥ on. It might just be that particular area but I didnt wanna risk it since i was nearing the 2 hour mark. Also the gameplay itself wasnt all that enjoyable. The character were also pretty generic and the enemies are not particularly frightening. Especially the god awful voice acting, not scary in the slightest. It didnt really bring anything new to the table, the music and atmosphere were decent I suppose. apparently everybody loves this game, I fail to see why. Refund pending, hope all goes well.

Trippy and intense.

Positives:

I love it, Thumper is so much fun! The visuals are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing and its very fast paced. Once you get past the first few levels the difficulty spikes and thats when it gets really intense. Going for that S rank is what makes you strive to improve. Each level includes a boss with their own unique challenges. Theres also plenty of combos to do along with the pretty visuals to keep you entertained. As well as the amazing yet ominous soundtrack to keep you immersed.

Negative:
- Game starts off slow, doesnt get intense till lvl 5

- At $20 I would say its a bit overpriced, on the last deal it was a decent price

- Not a rhythm game as it states, just a few nice sounds when you press the corresponding key and it doesnt actually produce a continuous beat/song

- Probably just on my end, but its prone to occasional crashes

- Prone to repetivity, but the intensity/difficulty redeems it a bit

Not as good as I remember it being 10 years ago, but besides the poor AI, its a decent game. Don't expect to find any players for multiplayer of course

Game is spooky for the first 20 hours or so, after that its just cat and mouse, fun i suppose.
It is riddled a ♥♥♥♥ ton of bugs, balance issues, constant crashing, retarded devs, and dlc(which is riddled with bugs and they're asking for more money when the game isnt even fixed yet. Game is considered a full release when it is nowhere near that.

Yet another poorly optimized game woot woot. From what ive played, the game seems amazing gameplay, designwise,etc. Game looks great, same dishonored artstyle. I just cant stand the choppy fps and mouse issues. Reducing the settings changes nothing, constant 20-40 fps.Devs said it will be patched soon lets hope so, till then dont buy. Although it's running poorly for like half the playerbase it might run fine for u, its a gamble. Was going to be getting Prey probly not anymore. Then to top it off the game goes on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sale 3 weeks later, a little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to early buyers. Wouldve prefered to waste 40 rather than 60 bucks on this trash. Ty Bethesda.

Edit: Runs better now, but be wary of future Bethesda games and dont make the same mistake i did.

Not exactly 80's but theyre cheap so no big deal. A few are just recolors sadly, pretty lazy but again its cheap. Also why does jake only have 1 new outfit?!
