I'm not a big horror guy. But this game really captivated me. As a horror game Narcosis isn't the best out there. But for such great storytelling amazing voice acting and the way this game messes with your mind really clicked with me.

I see a lot of people compare this to SOMA which I think is just an unfair comparision. For one Frictional games has a lot of experience under their belt. This game has a much heavier focus on telling a story than SOMA's horror aspects as well as it's focus on characters. The only real comparison I can make for the two is they both have such wonderful atmospheres. Though Narcosis definetly nails down the sense of lonliness and clostrophobia a bit better.

This game is also not a walking simulator. Though it has some aspects of this you still have to focus on resource management and a basic combat system.

For all the games strengths there are a few flaws. For one there are a few platforming sections that can be a bit of a struggle given the fact this is a first person game with a HUD that completely covers your ability to look at the ground. This game might also cause a bit of motion sickness but that might just be me. Checkpoints are also a bit off at some places sending me back a bit further than I'd like. There are also a few places that fail to lead the player in the right direction and I frequently found myself getting lost quite a bit.

This game was definetly worth the money I spent and I'd recomend it to anyone who thinks they'd like the game.

Fun way to piss away your time but unrealistic.
I'm still making money rather than going bankrupt and becoming homeless.

As a whole it's a pretty good game. Nice visuals, good mechanics (Though the AI is a bit too easy), fun to play (Especially with friends), however I'm a bit on the fence about buying this game. Like I said it's good but I feel like I'll forget this game in the near future and will never touch it again. It's a game I'd buy during a sale since I don't entirely think it's worth the 20$ front price though I might pick it up because of the sale but again it's not something I'd pay for full price.

They're allowing mods again so thats neat.

The game isn't the worst thing in the world. It's fun but you have to have a licence for literally everything... How do you get those licences? With real world mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money! The game wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ micro transactions! Don't waste your money just find some other game to get.

The first time I played I was destroyed by all the other factions within the first 40 turns. 10/10

The games confuses me.
