Imperator is the natural progression in the paradox line covering the classical era of ancient history. Those wanting to dive into a deeper world with more complex systems than Total war or Civ would love the world Imperator creates and unlocks for players to create their own history. The game had a rough release, but after great effort has turned a corner in quality and playability. The modding community is strong and a huge range of truly impressive workshop content is available. I believe Paradox games are really only limited by your imagination and the history that interests the individual. I highly recommend this game for those seeking to complete their historical game collection.
