massive reccommend, smooth gameplay, co-op, interesting builds and progression

Gambling Survivors

Pros:

• cool mechanics, like shadow spotting and the luck system;
  
• the stories, albeit simple, are engaging;
  
• it can be fun to fiddle around with cards and talismans.

Cons:

• if you have some experience with the genre you may find it extremely simple even on the highest difficulty
  
• Compounding with the above, the enemies generally don't move once you lose sight. Also, they don't always try to punish you, making it even possible to cheese the game. It can happen so easily that sometimes you have to actively try to avoid it, basically the game exploits itself;
  
• really unbalanced, despite the decisions you'll make, you will generally be full of money and resources throughout the run
  
• to give the game a 'westerner' feel, it takes a lot of shots to kill someone without flanking. This by itself is fine, if only flanking wouldn't have the strict requirement of being at exactly 90 or less degrees from the opponent. Once again, this isn't a big problem by itself, but you ought to keep it in mind (it isn't explained in the tutorial) and it looks silly and arbitrary when you are effectively flanking the enemy but it counts as he is in cover;
  
• lots of small unpolished things here and there, for example it can happen often to get struck on a screen for 5 seconds upon closing it.

Overall, it is a nice effort from an indie team, and you may find enjoyment from it, especially if you aren't a veteran of the genre.
Can't give it a positve review tho, as its limits are quite evident, leaving to the player the job of overcoming them.
