This game doesn't really deserve all these negative reviews. It surely has some flaws, but it's more enjoyable than it could seem.
I'd reccomend it if you played an XCOM (i played EU) game before, because it's really interesting seeing how it all translates into a TPS, being actually on the field, and exploring much more the aspects of an alien invasion.
It also has a decent story, still a bit linear and cliché, but much less than EU, it actually even has a couple of really really nice twists.
A lot of attention got driven into details, for example -while exploring levels or the base- you can find letters or tapes which carry out stories of what happened in that place after the invasion, how people reacted to it, or the current state of knowledge about the new menace, or they can add some characterization; this aspect of the game, added to the TPS one, makes it a quite immersive experience.
As for gameplay, I haven't really had problems with my squad: if you coordinate your team well enough, your teammates will be of a lot of value, expecially because you can't do everything alone since you have limited ammo and you need to expose yourself to get more. I find the gameplay overall pretty balanced and interesting, there are possibilities for nice combos, and often it all comes together quite nicely.
I won't emphasize much the negative aspects of the game, I guess it wouldn't be much useful.
Overall i really enjoyed my time spent into this game, but i'd reccomend buying it when discounted

Brilliant game

Best multiplayer game ever, funny during all stages of mastery

Game is awesome, sadly not many people play it, also because there are few people playing, it's kinda recursive.
Honorable mention to Devs, who do their best to update the game (added cars and airplanes lately) and are very present in the discussions

This game fails in every aspect. The camera angles give no depth of field making it hard to control the kid in a 3D envirorment. The platforming bits are extremely easy, just as most of the puzzles and the game overall. There isn't really a story, music and art are just nice. Plus lots of bugs. I would not reccomend

Gets repetitive really soon

Una delle migliori trame che abbia mai giocato.
A livello di gameplay non è male ma nemmeno eccelle, ha alcuni elementi ripresi da Gears of War; ma comunque è un gameplay più che godibile.
Consigliato a chi piacciono elementi psicologici nei giochi, sceneggiature curate, o a chi vuole semplicemente avere una memorabile esperienza videoludica/narrativa
