Imagine playing the game since day 1 on EA Origin launcher, loving the game so much that I purchased the Champion Edition (which you can no longer purchase), and a few hours on steam using the steamdeck, with 0 issues on Linux (and probably a few hundred dollars spent in in-game currency), for it to be completely yoinked because the developers decided to ostracize an entire operating system because "cheaters".

Remember when an Apex tournament cheater breached the game and gave people cheats mid-game? Yeah, that was on Windows.

In reality, it's because the developers don't want to read documentation that VALVE PROVIDES to integrate proton. Easier to drop out of the class than to do the homework.

Absolutely pathetic, and a borderline TOS breach (based on this review on November 5th. Lets see if they change TOS). Valve literally gave you the answers (and it WORKS. Look at VAC secured servers on valve games!!), and Respawn decided to ignore it.

Latest patch completely bricked SteamDeck, PS5, and Linux users.

Instead of fixing the multiplayer connectivity on launch, they just decided to make the game un-playable for anyone that isn't Windows 11.

Lazy as lazy can be. Great move Saber.

Apparently steam says I last played this game in 2014 for 2.8 hours.

The risk is high to fight over little to no content.

Once you go out of Haven, you will literally just get gang banged by ppl 20x more geared than you just to ruin your day.

If there was legitmate content to make you want to grind, then by all means it would be fun.

But it's not.

Towns are empty. There is literally no life to it. I mean the biggest city in the map has NPC Merchants lined up, never moving. Think of Imperial City, without the life, shops, and general willingness to explore.

This game has the potential to be so much, but they fell so hard I hope they have Life Alert to send some paramedics.
