as a huge RE fan it pains me to give this a thumbs down. buy it on sale. as of now, it's not worth $60. The game is EXTREMELY short, and the amount of cut content is insane. Maybe Capcom should've given this one another year so that it could be the proper remake 3 deserved...

Also, I can't stand Jill's look. Her face is very ugly and unappealing. Visually the game looks good, but it feels a bit "empty". RC in the original game felt much darker, grimier, "lived in". The new RC feels like a neon toy town that doesn't really give off an eerie or unsettling vibe. The game went way too gimmicky, colorful, and it ruined the city...

Also, I don't need to mention clocktower, the missing puzzles (there are exactly 2 puzzles in this game, both extremely easy), no grave digger, can't go to STAGLA gas station, the quick-decisions are just gone... so much wasted potential :(

without half-life 2 my life from 2004 onwards would be very, very different. this is the most influential game ever made!
