Awesome concept, well executed, and so fun. Devs are active in the community, the game is constantly being updated and upgraded, and it is scary. Literally, this game is the gold standard of Ghost Hunting games. You know how a game defines a genre? How CoD defined war FPS games? Goldeneye defined multiplayer shooters? Phasmophobia will define Ghost Hunting games.

Are there bugs? Yup. Is the VR experience perfect? Nope. Is it scary and fun? HELL YES.
Worth every penny. Pick it up if you like to be scared while you puzzle out ghosts. Especially if you enjoy being scared while in VR.

I love this game. What an experience thus far. I love building, optimizing, and making/selling stuff. After playing While True: Learn(); I was surprised to see a similar artstyle again. When I realized it was the same makers, I was excited. That game has been a blast, and I wanted to see what else they came up with.

I was not disappointed.

Thus far, I have made it through the tutorial and some of the campaign and I can say that I am so excited for more. The game rolls a tycoon, factory/optimization, and cats into one beautiful ball of energy. Add in that you can use machine learning to optimize your "Cat Store" and make it a smart store? Genius. The tree system for research requires researchers who you must pay (the first one, Dr. Katz, is free to use, though you gotta pay the cat.) and house/feed. What a novel concept for a tree unlock mechanic! Making better products means happier cats which means more customers, which means more demands for better products. Its a whole system that requires actual critical thinking and problem solving that is challenging and damn rewarding!

If you enjoy puzzles and engineering, if you have kids who you want to teach, if you are just a person who loves cats, this game is phenomenal. Also, please check out WTL if machine learning and puzzles make your day. These guys have some awesome stuff.

I wanted to get this for my kids. I wanted to show them visual programming, to get them excited for computer based projects and machine learning theory. Now I cant stop playing it. I have started to work on my own computer projects again, thinking in a much more algorithmic pattern. I have spent hours optimizing these little machines and trying to make things perfect. I have loved the storyline, the cute cats, the endearing emails, the real world concepts, and the entire process. I have stared at shapes and colors for FAR longer than I should.

I bought this game for my kids, but I was the one who learned. Years of Computer Engineering school and this is the most entertaining, interactive, and endearing way I have ever learned. And I do mean that I learned, I learned a lot. Machine Learning and theory has never seemed so possible to grasp.

Buy the game for your kids. Play it for yourself. Enjoy the experience. This game is phenomenal.

I got the game gifted to me by a friend. He wanted me to try it. 130 hours of quality gameplay later, I have to say this game is awesome. They have never asked for another cent of my money, everything in the game is earnable through normal gameplay. Gameplay that is absolutely fun and engrossing. Gameplay that makes 130 hours still feel like a day 1 noob, full of wonder and excitement in every damn cave.

If your game can elicit that response, never ask for another red cent, and give every second of content for the initial price, then take more money. You all earned it.

This game is fantastic so far.

First things first, this game is still very VERY new. They are working on it to expand, but they have a solid and winning game strategy already. The game is free-to-play. It is PLAY-to-win, you can't get most cards without playing the game and acquiring the game currency, which is only acquired through quests and playing. You can use real money to buy "gems", but those are for cosmetic changes only, not for better cards.

The community has been pretty awesome so far. Even with only 1 hour played, I have gotten into a bunch of matches with other players, who have always been polite and fun. There is always someone looking to battle and help you make a better deck. Players don't mind spectators to their games and the taverns are usually pretty populated. Chat is seamless, and it really feels like you're in a card game tavern.

Considering the game is free, it is expanding, and already has a decent player base, this is a phenomenal game. I fully expect it to take off with future expansions.
