This is one of those games that make me wish steam had a star rating I could add or something, because its a great game, but man is it a very simply rush cannons/lasers to win for most matches, and careful because if you slow down for even a second your opponent WILL get ahead and you will have to get lucky with a sniper shot or that they slip and slow down.

Overall, I wanna give this game a like 4/5, but I can't recommend it to people like me who enjoy more casual types of games, if you are into fast paced RTS games then grab this, otherwise I strongly advise you watch your play time if you are leery about this game.

Devs left it behind as far as I can tell, tried playing it again and I do not recommend this game at all.

It's sluggish, the guns are sluggish, the customization screen is very rough to use, and you have to take a meal break in-between each gunfight.

It's a game stuck between trying to be ARMA and Battlefield, and it isn't working.

Fun but can get tedious and boring, doing it in short bursts can be a lot more fun!

This game is fun, buggy, and runs like crap on modern hardware sometimes, but it's a testament to how when people have a passion to create a good game, they make a good game, even with less than a year to create it, the team that made this game created a cult classic, a timeless master piece, and the modders keep it modern and fresh. Buy this game. 10/10.

A core memory!

Its an old rpg game, play it, its fun, only complaint is enemies scale with your level no matter what so you cannot become an immortal god.

Dont ever spend your hard earned cash or your very limited time on this...I guess collage of game mechanics.

Its horrid once you get into it, the game becomes overwhelmingly filled with different systems of upgrades, game mechanics, and worst of all the game itself hardly teaches you how to do half of the things in this game without you needing to look back and check exactly what it said because its so confusing. I know I have a lot of hours and thats because I loved this game, but I never went past the surface of it and that got boring, and now if you try to play this game get ready for new systems and mechanics to slowly drip their way into your daily way of playing this game, until you either spend enough of your time grinding away and grinding away to make the game easier than cutting paper, or enough cash to feed a small island for 3 years.

And as for its community, its got some good people, but dont let that fool you, most of the people in here wont even use their chat box during a mission, you can say hi, you can ask for help, rarely will anyone reply, and its a 50/50 whether its some pretentious snob who thinks they know everything, and when you ask for help reply with short and rude words, quick story time, I asked a guy how he was able to kill this very hard boss (think it was a sortie boss for the people who know) and all he said was "Dont rush through quests, my guy" what the ♥♥♥♥ does that even mean, the quests dont give you god like weaponry and mods, they give you the bare bones ♥♥♥♥ so you have to go and forge the good stuff yourself, and don't even attempt to ask what they mean, they will reply with vague statements such as "know your build" or "armor strip", thanks for the info I already knew and didn't need to be told of again!

Last but not least, the update this game gets seem to shift the player base more and more, I haven't been around for years like some players have but I can easily tell this by checking the steam reviews, DE will probably just up and shoot this game in the foot one too many times and the player base will have enough, or the cult like following some players have to this game will carry it until its servers explode, hell I will probably quit this game long before its even close to falling because of how confused I am when it comes to playing this ♥♥♥♥ anymore.

Either way, I dont care, I just want others to know my experience and my thoughts on this game, feel free to share yours as well.

TL;DR: Game suffers from multiple issues like enemy power creep, too many game mechanics and systems to keep track of, etc, etc.

I changed my mind actually.

While I still do wish the driving was more realistic, and the older cars were a bit more...resilient to minor bumps and hits, overall it's a fair driving game, with a decent amount of cars to pick from, modding is still beyond me right now because when I check the "repository" (this games mod workshop) its just skins and maybe some maps, I've yet to find any mods that create a new vehicle.

And customization on cars is, ok, you aren't free to shove a V8 inside a tiny hatchback, nor to shove an electric motor inside a giant SUV, and the only semi-truck in this game is balls slow even with a fully kitted out engine, I still do find it enjoyable to play with the settings and put my own spin on a car, swap the stock parts with some sport parts and maybe a race part in the engine area, but overall I do wish you could put any part in any car, no matter if it would just shatter the car or make it almost un-derivable.

Oh and also a small guide to tuning your car would be nice, I'm a big advocate when it comes to all the information you need in a game being actually there in game, I don't like opening a Wiki-How or YouTube video every 5 minutes, thankfully most of the stuff in game is pretty self explanatory, but a tuners guide would be nice.

Final rating: 7/10 It could use more love in customization and replicating how different materials react to damage (like how steel should be stronger than plastic or aluminium) but other than that, it's pretty fun, definitely but it if you have the money or it's on sale!!!
