Is the game fun, yeah. Is it missing features and suffering from broken promises, yeah. Do i regret spending 180 hours playing? ♥♥♥♥ no.

Games fun solo or with friends. End game content is lacking when your 30 your just dependent on shop rotations or random emperors gifts at the end of missions for upgrades.

Go in if you want a game to kill heretics with friends and chill, don't if your looking for a complete experience as that's still being worked on which i have faith will be delivered down the line.


Hey there this is review update, class overhaul slaps classes have much more variety tho everyone seems to play the same kinda Psyker build so id love to see less assails by bringing the other varieties into line with it. Crafting is significantly better than what it once was, not perfect but a substantial improvement. Game just needs more game imo, more maps, more weapons, more mission types like the assassination boss music slaps but we only have 2 assassination missions. Darktide is on the path of redemption but still has some ways to go. For what its worth the actual game play is fun and satisfying. I'd love to see some actual campaign elements tho, nothing fully fledged even just something along the lines of how say left 4 dead had its mini campaigns since ultimately what i want is left for dead but in 40k. I enjoy playing board games and shizz, but I wrote the word 'genocide'in the world chat so finding players for my games has been ruined. Good product, im done with it tho.

Normally would not recommend a CA this soon after its release (their big games that usually have a lotta issues at release) but they really knocked it out the park with this game, it plays great, every faction feels diplomatically unique with their own resources, units and victory conditions.

The generals and how they have their own wants needs and non wants as well as being able to use your generals grudges with each other and friendships to create unique benefits and issues along the way, like a rivalry will push the generals to out preform one another or if their close friends their driven to protect each other and will go into a super buffed rage-mode if their oathsworn dies or falls in combat.

The main critiques I have with the game in its current state (1.30) is the south of china is largely unused so if feels like the game just plays in the north unless you bum rush to claim all that empty territory. I am aware they will be added the Nanman at some point who occupy those areas which should flesh the game out some more.

So a great game with more time come. Looking very promising.
