Janky Physics, boring gameplay. Just yet another Outrun clone thats missed the mark. Nothing new here.

After all these years its still a fun game. The physics feel a bit clunky now, you jump with moon-like gravity, you cant change direction with a-d while sprinting. The only way to open a door is to slash it with your knife.

But once you get accustomed to this new (old) reality its still a very fun game. The combat is nice, sniping feels great. The maps are well designed, the spawn screen is actually good. You can view the map and see your squads perspective at the same time! Unlike BF5, where you either see the squadmate spawn screen or the map. Where half the time you dont even spawn in after that atrocious zoom in animation. In BC2 you just always spawn instantly and it feels so nice. I can't believe I'm actually dedicating a whole paragraph to this.

The vehicles are made out of papier-mâché. But thats alright, thats a good excuse to not feel so bad when you suddenly get killed.

I only just started playing again, on a new soldier. I couldn't login to my old account, recovery is a mess. I just bought the game again. Restarting on a new acc without any perks unlocked is a bit harsh, but its good fun. Im looking forward to the weapons im about to unlock again. :)

Sweet and short game. Interesting well executed gameplay. The main story will take about 2-3 hours to finish and there is really a bit of a story. But all the extra end game content can keep you busy for many more hours. I have occasionally come back to clear some more challenges or play some endless mode.

This game is well worth your time, though the 23 euro pricetag is a bit steep. I think thats also why i see it on the wishlist of a lot of friends and not much in their game libraries.

A frustratingly hard game with a great soundtrack. Really challenging game, not for the weak hearted.

Positives:
- atmosphere
- storytelling

Negatives:
- uninteresting gameplay mechanics
- level building
- uninteresting enemies

I just cant recommend this game to anyone. This game feels too much like those free2play browsergames. And at a price of 11,99 Euro its a very expensive free browsergame to boot. The only good thing about the game is its premise, bit of a over the top cheesy 80s action flick but it set the atmosphere nicely.

The gameplay just consists of managing the hoard of enemies. Enemies which are basically slow zombies with guns. You walk in circles around them to avoid fire while you make your way to the objective and destroy it. All the while you try to pick out "special" enemies that have health/ammo/extra-gold drops.
Shooting those enemies can be quite a pain too due to the high inaccuracy. Using an assault rifle was just too frustrating, you cant use the extra range it offers because you will just end up missing 75% of your shots at the target you are aiming for. The crosshair also seems to jump and have its own free will.
Maps have little interesting terrain or features.

Did not play this game in coop, decided not to bore my friends with this. You should do the same.

After playing for a few hours I've got some mixed feelings about this game and im not sure if i will continue playing it.
This is the first Witcher game I've played.

Lets start with the positives:
- It looks good
- Interesting story/world
- good narrative

Negatives:
- I havent read up on it, but it certainly looks like a bad PC port. It shows in many thing in this game atleast.
- Basically no ingame settings menu, so you cant quickly check or change button layout or some graphic options.
- Left mouse button is used for almost everything: spamming it to slash your way through opponents, Interacting with NPC's, picking up stuff, opening doors. This however makes it really annoying to pick something up in front of a door as you can imagine, you have to stand at the exact right point, sometimes even face away from the object you want to pick up to pick it up and not open the door.
- Physics are not the greatest, for instance you can only walk on certain paths. You cant climb or descend where you would want to. If for instance there is a 50 cm drop and you want to go down there, dont expect you can.. You have to walk around and take the chosen path. At times a drop is part of the route you are meant to take, in that case you can at times hang on the edge and drop by ofcourse using your left mouse button while standing on the desired spot.
- Fights arent very interesting, its mostly hack and slashing through numerous waves of opponents. My left mouse button is getting worn pretty quickly like this..

Maybe it gets better, but right now.. i just dont really feel like continuing this adventure. The only good thing is the story and scenery so far, but if want that i rather go watch a film.

I had really expected more from this considering the good meta score (likey given for console version) and good rating on steam...

It could have been a fun game, but they just throw so many cops at you that it isnt funny anymore.
The stealth option is there, but sooner or later it will end in a copfight. And when the cops come, ♥♥♥♥ really hits the fan. They just keep on pouring in, killing 400 cops in a simple bank heist is nothing special in this game.
Due to this the game becomes a very 1 dimensional "shoot everything you see" shooter. The cops are like zombies with guns, some zombies are special, they carry shields, have insane armor, a tazer or a sniper. But the thing with zombies is that they are usually easy to predict, they run in a small corridor straight at you while you gun them down. You can control the confrontation. These cop zombies however get dropped down with helicopters, use vents or 6 conveniently placed elevators to pop up right besides or even right on top of you. Then they usually drop a smoke and about 50-100 cops will come at you. Just simply overpowering you with numbers. Even battle tactics get lost in here.

Then there is the leveling system which is just very vague. Everyone at level 1 starts out with the same setup, but you will level up with the class you have selected and can get the set bonusus when you reach a certain level within that class. It just doesn't work that well, you cant really create your own class. It would have been much better and clearer if they would simply have gone with the talent/skill trees you see in most games.

It had some potential, but it just never fullfilled it. Atleast this game helped them finance the game they ACTUALLY wanted to make. They never planned to make Payday the way this game is made. They just simply didnt had the means to do what they wanted, so they went with a simple game. And whats more simply to just throw hoards of cops at players?
But I've heard Payday 2 is a lot better, so really... dont waste your time on this one!
If you want to rob banks take a look at Payday 2 instead, I've heard its pretty good.
