A geat remaster. In soul reaver 1, the ability to use dual analog sticks makes it instantly better than the PS1 version. It is not perfect, more could have been done to modernize the gameplay, but I am just happy the game actually runs on PC. Been waiting for a patch or something that fixes the games on PC for YEARS. High reccomend if you want a Legend of Zelda style game with a dark atmosphere and Shakespearean writing with vampires.

Fantastic game. The story starts out weak, but the later half although feeling a little on the short side, is absolutely some of the coolest stuff I have seen. Everything in this game is the rule of cool. This game builds on what the first one attempted to do and in my opinion succeeds it in almost every way. When it comes to the game itself I would give it a 8.5 out of 10, some of the most fun I have had this year next to TotTK.

Now If I could write a separate review based on how the game runs for 90% of the people I would give it a thumbs down. This game is far too demanding for how it looks and what it offers. larger and prettier games run better. I was lucky that I was one of the few folks who had little to zero issues when it comes to bugs, but it is honestly getting tiring how many games are released on pc in a sub-par state with performance.

Absolutely amazing RPG! very d&d esque with wonderful class building and wonderful gear progression. A little on the slow side at first but becomes very satisfying. Although if using and AMD graphics card, go download Nvidea PhysX or the game WILL NOT LAUNCH, and be prepared for a LOT of crashing! One of Bioware's finest and could use a remaster!

An absolutely amazing game. i recommend this to any fan of RPG style games. It takes a while to get into it, I took a profoundly long time to realize what a gem it was, 70 hours of me starting and restarting. At around 76 hours I had finally left Fort Joy and had a legitimate run. Fort Joy is slow and a little tough to get through, but once this game had its grips on me I couldnt put it down. other RPG games handled the storytelling, conversational and immersion than this one, but its nothing to scoff at.

Where this game really shines is the combat. It is incredibly fluid for a turn based game, it really is like chess. Constantly thinking moves ahead. My only complaint on terms of combat is that there is far too much fire. Every single encounter ends with a raging inferno and it gets really old especially at the black pits (which still burn to this day)

I would give this game a 8.5/10 if I had to give it a number, nonetheless a must play.

Keep developing! the gameplay loop involves many dynamic horrifying experiences, more maps and some polishing around the edges and this game will be one of the best horror games I ever played, it already is one of the spookiest!

10/10 would have a heart attack again!

Disclaimer: I have only played the official module!

Phenomenal D&D style game, I love the freedom in class customization, and character building. So much depth involved! A game created by Bioware before they really gained fame and traction, so the main story is a little bit on the lackluster side, but it is by no means bad! Even with the confined spaces and dated graphics, I truly feel like i am exploring the world and becoming powerful. The loot progression throughout the main campaign is also done very well, where I feel like working hard really rewards me with powerful equipment! Beamdog has done a great job bringing this game to modern PC and still support it to this day!
I have not played the multiplayer and don't even know where to start, but from what I have seen it is very active, and so is the modding community! One of my must play RPG now!

The only card game that has kept me playing! What an amazing concept, it has completely rised above my expectations! although, I do wish there were more than 2 acts. I have played 8 hours in the 1 day I owned this game, Highly reccomended!

So far the game is loads of fun, and very remiscent of System Shock and BioShock. I only about an hour and a half in but the atmosphere build up has been great. Performance wise, I am getting a good 60 fps constantly with very few drops to 50 or 45.
Edit: Much farther in the game now. i am playing on normal and the game is giving me quite the challenge, but if i play my cards right things become easy and smooth. The atmosphere of the game is absolutely fantastic though!
