Amazing graphics, smooth fps even on a mid-range rig (gaming laptop), gameplay is fast and punchy. Controls are easy to learn on keyboard, no controller required, and while they are complex enough to allow skill expression they are simple enough not to require a PhD in Mecha Studies. Does an amazing job of fulfilling any Mecha power fantasy you could have- Macross/Robotech fans will love the Falcon, while Gundam fans will find the obvious nod in Alyseus. If heavy mechs are more your style Stego can lock down any area with a barrage of gatling guns and missiles, becoming an immovable bastion of area denial. Melee lovers (I see you, Escaflowne and Gurren Lagann fans) will love the brawling style of the Panther, whose spinning drill-lance and laser sword are a menace to deal with on the battlefield. Mechs all look fantastic and the devs did a great job making every one of them instantly recognizable even in the heat of split-second fighting. I'm hoping that a bit more story content comes because the initial world-building during the tutorial was phenomenal, and I'd love more Armored-Core style fights (Robot vs Giant Robot)!
