TimmyB Tournament: Week 1

It's that time again, friends: your weekly merry update:

This week, I slacked off and should have had this email out much earlier. The TimmyB memorial tournament[gunsoficarus.com] is this Saturday, August 23rd at 3PM EDT, so anyone that's interested in playing some Guns in a fun but still competitive setting should indicate so in the usual place[docs.google.com].

We can put together as many 4 person ships as we like, and it should be a fun time. If anyone has any special requests or a specific group of 4 (or less) they want to sign up with, let me know. This isn’t really meant to be a serious tournament, and teams don’t need to sign up every week, so I plan to sign up as many ships as we have interested people and we can pretend the scoring is Whose Line, where the points don’t matter.

Sign up deadline for this weekend is Wednesday, so we have short turn around on

Ahoy All!

As you all know, thanks to the valiant efforts of everyone, we have made it into the Hephaestus Challenge Gold Playoffs! Congratulations to all those involved, and I look forward to our usual complete disregard for all the unorthodox flying we have come to expect from our competitive team. Availability has been put up for the Gold playoffs, and would like everyone to fill out what they can do for it sooner rather than later. Keep in mind that these are Bo3 games, so make sure you have the time to accommodate. If you need to know where the Availability sheet is, you can find it on our site, or go here:

Additionally, Dmax has been spearheading a project to get some of our less frequent competitive player s pooled together, so that we may challenge the Sunday event. If you are interested in getting some competitive experience, please fill out your availability for that as well. I will also be arranging Scrimmages, so please watch out for those as well. I will announce it when I have more information.
