I didn't realize that till I entered the game :P I'm a Nooooooob :3

Also, WWI didn't really use Light machine guns, I thought. It was mainly a user of MMGS. (a british unit tended to have 4 MMGS, while a russian one tended to have 8) however someone explained it to me that due to size limits on source servers (which is weird, because I thought you could up the size to at least 32) MMGS aren't a usable source. also, is the running animation fixed in 2.0?

Light machine guns were frequently used from the middle point of the war right to the end of it. The Brits had the Lewis Gun, the Germans had the MG08/15 and the French used the Chauchat. Thousands of these weapons were manufactured, so they werent a rare sight. You'll see the Lewis and Mg08/15 in 2.0.

Also, not sure if there was anything ever wrong with the running animations in older versions, but we're using new animations in 2.0, so it should be fixed :)
Oh. well. I was leaning towards the beginning of the war...the Chauchat, (while being the ""worst machine gun" ever fielded in the history of warfare" has standing fire, if I'm reading correctly, and wasn't designed as a defensive machine gun, overheating easily :3). if I'm also reading correctly, the Mg 08/15 Needed 4 people to man it..... Yeesh. (it doesn't. actually, it just overheats easily without the 4 man team and takes twices as long to set up)

and the Lewis gun could be fired standing up, as well, something not acheivable in 1.13b right now https://youtu.be/ene6LievhIE?t=1m21s :3
