WW1 Source Campaign
Well hello there, soldiers.

Did you know that we here at the WW1:S headquarters have been secretly plotting to bring you a community campaign? You didn't? Well that's bad, we were supposed to get the word out to you before hand...

In an effort to have one last great bon voyage to our fearless v1.13b of WW1:S before 2.0 hits, we are devising a series of the most climatic, cinematic, awe-inspiring, shit-inducing, rollercoastering, flamboastering, epic battles you will experience in the 1.13b game.

We (that is to say, BloodAngel, Boscafano, Judge, Enigma and I) have been hard at work developing and fine tuning the rules and map for this fight.

The rules are simple, it's a giant risk game played by the two commanders (Boscafano and I) and you guys, are the keys to victory. Each weekend, the two teams will have a chance to take territory by launching offensives. The german offensive is saturday, the allies on sunday. The commander for the offensive team decides which territory on the map to attack. Each territory has a series of maps to fight in. The armies fight on the first map, going through however many rounds of a game mode as necessary for the given map (Best of 6 rounds of realism or 3 of conquest)

The offensive team has 3 hours to conquer the territory. Conquering only happens when the offensive team wins all the maps in a territory. If at the end of 3 hours, the offense team hasn't fully conquered the territory, then the offensive is deemed a failure and the team has to wait until the next turn (week) before they can try again.

The defenders have the ability to conquer territory on the defense. This counter-offensive occurs when the defenders have won a defense of a map. The defenders reverse the offensive and win back the previously lost maps in the territory. Once that is done (and they are still winning), the defenders will push into an adjacent enemy territory. If the defenders push into the opposing territory, and win the series of maps within the 3 hours then that territory is theirs and they still get to attack on their next turn.

The campaign will end when one team conquers the opposing team's home territory.
