Idea suggestion page
help me make the death star with ACF, wiremod, and E2. main cannon will be acf/e2 based (shoots acf projectiles but E2 adds death star sounds and effects), will have some automatic AA defense turrets, some acf based, some wire turret/E2 based, some maunal turrets that are acf based, and automatic ACF/E2 based missle defense systems. outside will have high hp low armor, then another layer thats higher armor but also decent hp, then another layer of high hp, a crude interior with a hangar with a toggleable shield enterance that can be disabled by destroying a part on the outside first, It will be able to rotate so it can aim, but not move around. also, it will have a main exhaust port on the opposite side of the main weapon, fairly small hole, big enough to shoot thru if ur good at aiming, too small to enter with a ship, with turrets around it to shoot down things and a shielded enterance that can be disabled if u destroy a certain part on the inside first, the inside of the exhaust port should have 2 layers, outer layer high hp, inner layer high armor, and at the core of the death star there will be a large ammo box with a lot of HE 1000kg bombs with high explosive power that, if destroyed, will blow up the entire thing. the outside layers of the death star (the spherical part) will be physical, so things cant just go through it, as well as the shield parts, the hangar area, and any components that cant be nocollided, and everything else will be no collided. the physical parts will be no collided to surrounding parts, but not to everything. i know it will be complicated, and this is just a rough design, but with multiple people working on this, it should be doable. everyone who helps will get the dupe when its done too! (PS: it needs to be big enough for a decent amount of weapons like this, plan can be reworked if needed, but not too big because we dont want to crash servers spawning it in or destroying it lol. accepting constructive criticism/ideas, this is just a rough draft). another idea i have is instead of piloting it manually, make it fully automatic with only like 3 different types of manually controlled turrets or something, make the rest automatic so u can control targetting with chat messages, so it automatically aims at and shoots at players u target with a certain chat messge, it defends itself, and u can choose what weapon it uses to kill targets, such as guided missles, artillery/rotary guns/main weapon/etc.) if the manually controlled version is too complicated
