Sorry for reviving a dead thread, but I must say that none of the basic tutorial videos are working and that the only working video is "E2 Mech"
Again sorry for reviving this but I am fairly new to actual E2 coding and have been wanting to learn it properly since the later months of 2020. I have not been able to find a single good video about expression 2 that isn't years old and mostly outdated. I want to learn how to actually use it sufficiently, adequately and properly as to get everything possible out of it.

Yeah, I need to replace the dead videos here.
But regarding e2 tutorials, no idea how to help.
Nobody seems to have a decent video on it.
But maybe talk to someone who does e2?
maybe ask around on the garry's mod discord?

Another question, I heard this " E2 is practically just lua" being said before by some people. Is this true? And if it is wouldn't it be better for me to learn lua so rather than e2? Or is this just fake news I am hearing

Not sure; I think E2 is a from of Lua; but altered to be something you can actually code with.

I was always under the impression lua was a good language to code with, that it was in all actuality one of the best languages to learn ( for starters) or am I incredibly mistaken lol

There are many different coding languages; maybe try Java or C++
