Try visiting here and post forum and seek for advise rather than relying on the response from a not so helpful admin/person like penguin fella(no offence intended).
By right, the admin or whoever is working in the Appeal/ban community should give advise or redirect if needed. It seems so wrong to brush you off with a statement like Do not appeal if no evidence to prove your story.
From his reply, he mentioned "Do not try to appeal unless you got evidence" -- The same can said about the evidence that got you tagged or ban. Does the evidence from 2 years back still exist or enough to warrant a permanent ban or labeled as scammer? They should seriously look into re-opening the case as they are alots of scamming and account hacking going on.
Hope you get to meet some frenly helpful ppl from the link i posted above to assist you. Keep us posted on the update.
