Why do we dislike HoxHud?

Generally, the HoxHud, eventhough it's approved by Overkill, changes the play-style COMPLETLY. It's no longer the original Payday 2 if you do not even have to remember how many pagers you have left or how long the ECM jammers are holding or how many bags there are on the heist etc.
Additionally, the HoxHud supports hacks and trainers even more than the regular game already does. HoxHud is actually a hack that supports more hacks.
Eventhough OVERKILL approves it (because it should not have any negative sideeffects for clients), they don't dislike you because you dislike the Hud.

And, people leaving a single commentary and leaving again will be instantly banned.

How to delete HoxHud
First, we need to delete HoxHud and BLT:CSE.

For that, just go to your PayDay2 Folder (Steam\SteamApps\common\PAYDAY 2)

Now delete the "IPHLPAPI.dll" file
After this delete following folder: "HoxHud", "lib" and "\assets\mod_overrides\HoxHud"

If you have BLT:CSE (BLT: Club Sandwich Edition) you will also need to delete the "mods" folder

And you're done! Wasn't that easy?

HoxHud does implement sort of DRM, it doesn't let you study it, it disrespects you even more by obfuscating its binary with virtual garbage, that slows everything down. It is easy to hide malware in such stuff and you have to never trust any HoxHud developer. It is very hard to modify such stuff and if anything breaks, only hope is HoxHud developer. You should use PocoHUD or don't use any HUD at all. PocoHUD is open and lets you study and modify it under MPL2 license conditions.

Greetings. I was informed that HoxHUD contains malware along with many other claims against it. Here I see that this group is mostly an opinion piece, however I was directed here when I asked for evidence of this claim. Would someone here take on the burden of proof to the idea that HoxHUD is a malware/spyware?
