WAR P(IGS) is a group started by me as a way to keep in contact with kids from IGS, organize events, chat and maybe pick up some new members interested to join.

RULES

Some basic rules of this group:
Don't swear excessively.
No racist, sexist or offensive comments.
Don't post explict images.

Breaking these rules may result in a warning, being suspended or banned at my discretion.

Basic stuff really (remeber some of us share our steam accounts with a younger sibling).

Company of Heroes game 9th of December

Okay I Company of Heroes is a great game and good fun with relatively quick matches. Now I don't know how many people have, but it also happens to be free in the form of company of heroes online (http://www.companyofheroes.com/). Most of the original game is there, so if we don't level or buy stuff we can play as if it were a normal CoH game, but for free for the people who don't have it. Also it may take quite a while to download.

For those who haven't played it before, it's not too hard to learn and in my opinion fun even when you are losing. You don't need very rapid click skills, it's mainly about placement and knowing the right units (e.g machine gun bullets will never, ever damage a tank).

Anyway I want boots on the ground. And lots of artillery, I mean ridicullous amounts of artillery. The more the better. I don't want you to flatten hills, I want you the make hills by carving out vast valleys from with artillery shells. Anyway, explosions, mayhem, fun. Please attend, and preferably post in the comments if you want to play.

Another attempt to get some WARP(IGS) games up.

Okay the group has grown fairly big but we've never managed to organise times for gaming sessions I'd like to do some if people are interested (when I can squeeze time from year 12 work).

Basically HL2 mods are easiest since most people will have a source engine game. I'd suggest neotokyo but if anybody has any suggestions fell free to post some. For those who have TF2 we could join some pubs sometime, or anyone who has CoH we could have some large CoH battles (A lot of my friends have it but it's been a while since we'eve played together).

If we just want to mess around we could do some Garry's mod or *shudder* (it almost never works properly) try to set up some synergy hl2 co-op.

If we can decide on a game and time we can set up an event to remind us.
