For all those Doom modders everywhere!

You need: XWE, MS-PAINT (or any other graphic editors), some thing to make sounds and Boom or above

To make a Flamethrower for ZDaemon, you need to create flamethrower sprites and projectile sprites with the name of plasma gun sprites, and flamethrower sounds called "DSPLASMA".

Now open XWE and create a new patch called Flame Thrower.
Then go to sprites and load the sprites in.

Then, goto "ALL", select S_START and create an entry called "DEHACKED" then press CTRL-U.

At the top of the DEHACKED lump, type:

Patch File for DeHackEd v3.0

Doom version = 21
Patch format = 6

That is required!

Now, we want to change the pickup message.
The name for the plasma gun's pickup message is "GOTPLASMA" but it appears as "You got the plasma gun".

To change the pickup, we need to add:

[strings]

To edit strings.
Now, we add GOTPLASMA and make it You got a Flamethrower.

So, it should look this:

Then you can make a Flamethrower for ZDaemon
