Voice of the People

We, just like you, enjoy playing Minecraft with other players. So we strive to focus on providing our players with the most enjoyable Multi-player Minecraft experience possible. We have a lot of experience playing the game, and even more experience playing on other servers, so we know what players want, love and hate.

Vox Populi is the name of our minecraft server. It is run by both Zombiemold and Latin_Goddess.

- Added a new shop downtown: League of Shadows. Vendors at the league of shadows will sell you all new spells and items for assassins and archers. You can warp to this location via "/warp shadows".

- Added several new weapon enhancement spells. These weapon enhancements spells share cooldowns, and are only effective when wearing light armor (Leather or Chainmail). These spells allow for specific combat choices and strategy when dealing with player and monster opponents.

- Added a new Spell: Poisonblade - Temporarily poison your weapons causing any strikes with a sword to wither your victims for a short duration.

-Added a new Spell: Crippleblade - Temporarily poison your weapons causing any strikes with a sword to drastically slow your victims for a short duration.

- Added a new Spell: Weaknessblade - Temporarily poison your weapons causing any strikes with your sword to weaken your victims for a short duration.

- Added a new Spell: Sharpenaxes- Temporarily sharpen your axes causing any strikes with an axe to stun your victims for a short duration.

- Added a new Spell: Adrenaline-Rush - Passive effect. When wearing light armor, killing an enemy will give you a burst of strength for a short duration.

- Added a new Spell: Fletch - Attempt to craft a bow and some arrows with whatever nearby resources you can find.

- Added a new Spell: Fleet-Footed - Passive Effect. If wearing light armor, you have a 100% chance to gain a burst of speed while sprinting.

- Added a new Spell: Blindpowder - Passive effect. When wearing light armor striking an enemy with a handful of gunpowder will blind them for a short duration.

- Added a new Item: Thistle Tea- hen wearing light armor, drinking Bhutan Flower Tea will elevate your reflexes, and give you incredible evasion for a short duration.

- Added a new Item: Blackjack - Striking a player with Blackjack will stun them, blind them, and nauseate them for a short duration.

- Leather armor proficiency has been removed

- Chain armor proficiency has been removed

- Diamond armor proficiency has been removed

- The shadowstep spell has had it's cooldown reduced to 5 seconds (Down from 10) and it's cost reduced to 1 Lapis Lazuli (Down from 2 Redstone Dust and 1 Lapis Lazuli). Additionally, the shadowstep spell can only be cast while wearing light armor (Leather or Chainmail).

October 24th
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Added a new mechanic: Stealth. Snaking in a dark location while wearing full leather armor or chainmail armor will cause you to become invisible to all other players and monsters for a short duration. During stealth: attacking, taking damage, or stepping into a lighted area will break the stealth effect and reveal you. For more information, type "/help stealth".

October 27th

-MobArenas will no longer give diamonds as rewards for higher waves.

-The Phase Spell for Investors and Financiers has been re-enabled, but restricted to only being usable in the main world.

-Investors and Financiers now are able to use the following WorldEdit commands: //count, //size, //shift, //expand, //contrast, //outset, //inset. "/help WorldEdit" will reflect these changes.

-The Spells Heal and Conjure have been made availible for purchase at "/warp magetower".

October 30th

-The Agony spell can now only be cast when not wearing diamond armor.

-The Bomb spell can now only be cast hen not wearing diamond armor.

-The rate of finding many differnet treasures and items via McMMO skills has been reduced back to their original levels. This spike in rare item finds were due to an update, and were not intended.

-Fixed a bug that allowed stealthed players to attempt to capture the ChestArena chest.

I'm going to be working on getting items for one of my friends in TF2 and will probably have a lot left over, so if anyone wants what he doesn't, let me know.
