I will shut the server down 19.00 GMT+02 today 08.08.16 and wipe the map aswell as change it over to the island.

Tomorrow before the wipe I will also turn off all raid protection so everyone can have some fun. I will offer to spawn in supplies to raid peoples bases that want to test their defenses before its all gone.

When do you want to see the next wipe? Also before you vote on what map you want to see on the next wipe please take what it says in the question to consideration. We all would benefit on trying out The Island, we can always change back to The Center upon another wipe.

All the new hardware is setup now and we should be back stronger than ever. This hardware changed caused some players to loose the server from their favorites.

Here is how you get back on the server if you can't find it:

Option 1: Connect from here https://ark-servers.net/server/48705/

Option 2: Go to your main steam window - View - Servers - Favorites - Add server - Type in "vortexark.ddns.net" and hit find servers. After that you can go back into ARK and the server should be at your favorites again.

Hello everyone! Been doing anything in my power to get back online. The lightning that struck here took out some of the equipment we use for the server regarding the network. After a lot of back and forth I managed to get my hands on some hardware we can use temporary to I recieve new parts.

Im really sorry about these issues, and I really hope you guys can see this from my perspective. You guys lost 1-2 hours of gametime, while I lost 1000$+ in equipment.

Due to the temp hardware the network connection is a little bit reduced, but in the end I doubt there is anything you guys will notice gaming experience wise.

We are facing some major weather issues in the area the server is located. Lightning struck right outside, and equipment got lit up. Amulances is driving back and forth here so the area is badly affected by mother nature.

Im writing all this through my cell phone, all equipment/network is offline.

All this beeing said: The server itself is surge protected and no progress will be lost for you guys. Personal equipment on the other hand got... fried.

Please bear with me and see this from my perspective. Its somewhat chaotic, and I am doing anything in my power to get us live.
