Welcome to the Vidya Testing Initiative, or ViTI for short. Those goons in the rest of the Steam community stole the ViTI abbreviation before I could get a hold of it, so that's why you see the little star next to it. It means we're special.

You're all here because you're the best of the best. Virgins, neckbeards, NEETs, all hand-picked because we want you to make maps for the good of the multiverse.

All we ask of you is to post your maps, and play other people's maps. And stop cluttering up the fucking threads with "PLZ PLAY MY MAP GUYZ". Post it here, and people will probably play it. Probably.

I've been informed that a good chunk of maps and mapmakers involved in the Vidya Testing Initiative have been fraternizing with the likes of Redditors. The rest of you can all rest easy knowing that this sort of cooperation is strictly intolerable. Henceforth, if any ViTI map is seen with a #reddit tag or is included in anything resembling a Reddit collection, it will be removed from our collection. We have a reputation to uphold, and it shan't be sullied.

If you want your map to be easily seen by other ViTI members, including the #vidya tag is highly recommended.

Now, this isn't some sort of "SEEKRIT KLUB" bullshit. This is just a way of keeping ourselves as quality as possible. To that effect, there will also be something of an "All-Stars" collection in the works to help distinguish the true 10/10 would bang material from the rest. The qualifications to be included in this collection are still in the works, but we're not taking the easy road here. Maps will most likely be hand-picked, voted on, and featured regardless of rating or how many unique subscribers they have. If someone comes to the chat and says "hey this map is pretty cool, it deserves a feature", it might just get one if enough people like it.

We're all just a bunch of dudes out to have a good time, right? Sorry for the long-windedness of this, but some of it just needed to be said. Keep on building.
