Yesterday, probably because of the high heat, the depot at the waste yard caught fire. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Professional firefighters put out the flames with great effort, and eight machines also helped with the work. The burning area was covered with earth to help extinguish the fire. While previously there was a fire on 200 square meters, the final size of the burned area became 600 square meters. The fire of a large amount of accumulated municipal waste posed a serious challenge to the firefighters: they fought for about 7 hours to contain the fire. The disaster prevention mobile laboratory also continuously carried out measurements at the site: fortunately, no concentrations harmful to health reached the air in the area.
