Do yourselves a favour and download the entire soundtracks of Dead or Alive 3, 4 and 5. DOA1, 2 and 6 have good music too. Just listen to it or play DOA5 or DOA6 for free (4 unlocked characters each), you'll understand what I'm talking about. The gameplay is also fantastic, I've never seen so much realism with ambient interaction, dislevelled grounds, obstacles that don't stop the fight and detailed 3D moves. The characters are a bit generic when compared to other games, but it's so much fun... Keep the music on.

Simple piano motifs. Good recording quality, for hearing those bass sustains echo on. Good stuff.
You might also enjoy the soundtrack to Arcanum: of Steamworks & Magic Obscura. Whole soundtrack performed by a chamber string quartet.

I must admit, reading such an in-depth, honest worded and somehow heartbreaking comment wasn't something I did expect today. Alas, I'm very greatful for this sign of life, no matter how bleak it does sound. That said, I also did not want to spread any kind of pressure or put you under a form of anxiety. I myself have a lot going on in my private life lately. I became a dad, started to hate my job more and more, haven't met many friends since Covid started and more or less forgot to think outside of a pandemic life. So, get well, get your health, your life and whatever that might be included by this in order and, once you feel like it, come back.
I always liked to see the announcements, listen to songs I either know and adore or get to know them soon after.
Maybe some fresh faces or minds can help and revive with keeping the spirit alive? Take care, stay safe!

Apologies. High stacks of IRL circumstances fell upon the entire admin team at once a while back, and much of it is too indefinite to really know what there is to communicate or how to make any sort of commitment around it.
For my part, health issues have always been afoot, and my living situation entered a state of upheaval that aggravated them, leaving my life on a lower rung for a while in my perpetual state of convalescence. Managing it must be my first priority. In the meantime it can be hard to predict in the day-to-day when I can accomplish anything with a measure of competence.
At least for my part, it isn't practical to approach tackling current matters on my own, and I'm not sure what to do about it. But for sure I want to keep this community alive.

Happy October, everyone. It's my favorite time of year.

This is something we can possibly do for maybe the holidays. We used to do them monthly, but they take a lot of time to put together, and there were some issues with people using sound recognition software to cheat on the competition when we were giving away bigger prizes for it. But if it's just a friendly competition among members, hopefully there won't be as much temptation to bend the rules.

I've seen the posts on it. Lol, looks like it came before my time on the team. It'll be interesting to see it in action.
