The private server is a dying breed, they're either closed down or people just quit because the lack of challenge is a bore. We've got about ~10 active people and more to come. I don't use any NX, but a little investment to buy a shop and/or a transparent hat is always a nice addition. We're here to help out if you need to get started out; message me in-game or add me on Steam and I'll be glad to help any new peeps.

I think it's enjoyable without NX. As for activity, probably about 10 active people right now. I'm trying to get more people from the /vg/ thread because apparently the private servers are drying up.

I'm interested in joining because of the new update coming out, how many people do you get regularly have online? Is the game still enjoyable if you don't buy nx?
