As of yesterday, I have been temporarily banned from this server over what was, as I see it, a misunderstanding. I was hiding in a confined space (a small bathroom in the map "67th Way") at the start of a round, and I announced to that I would open fire on anyone who came near me (keep in mind that I was an innocent that round). In all likelihood, doing that is not allowed by this server, and if that were the case, it would be fair and reasonable to give me a temporary ban. However, as I understand it, I was banned not for the aforementioned reason, but for following up on that statement and attacking someone who entered the bathroom, and that person was, in fact, a traitor. In all fairness, I did not know this before I attacked them, but I was operating under the assumption that they had heard me announce my location, and had come to kill me (which they did after I shot at them). Moreover, I did disconnect from the server later that round, but I was not attempting to avoid any punishment. I simply left because I wanted to get some sleep before I woke up early this morning. I cannot prove this, but it is the truth.
Well, that was awfully long-winded. I do apologize for any inconvenience, and if it is decided that I still deserve my punishment, I will serve it without complaint. Thank you for your time
